there is a way but you need to have really good record for that to happen

Dunno about here, but usually be close friend/acquaintance of adms or the high level mods, so they can vouch for you (nepotism or not) or be really active and show you are level headed and responsible and you want this. Although I have seen some forums making questionable users mods, so it depends on each forum really.

good! You might have to talk to one of the admins because I'm not sure if they're hiring and what the rules and requirements are. I mean, I know what it looks like, I'm a moderator for the Once Guild and there's a lot of things that you can do, but with great power, comes great responsibility!

Well you get paid so my guesses are
you have to be at least 18
have a pretty clear schedule
clean record
responsible
certain expertise
etc.

I used to think that having a clean past was important.. not so sure
Being objective and not biased not sure either
Maybe having the time and be close to the staff?
