Most people agree that actively engaging someone you already dislike and know your engagement with them will be negative is harassment and bullying.
Recently I have seen the argument that ignoring people could also be accounted as bullying.
Do you agree with this sentiment?
What would be the right approach to people you dislike?
As an example there was a student in class that people avoided working with or being grouped with at all cost. They reported the class for bullying them. After investigation it turned out that the student had condescending and rude manners which caused people to avoid them. I mean it sucks that someone's personality might affect their academic performance but I don't think forcing other students to be in a group with someone they are uncomfortable with is also the right solution.
