Why is Korean popularity downplayed?

Usually when big names come, tours in SEA are easily sold out. Problem is companies dont hold much dates in SEA, otherwise it is another profitable marmet.

Same like China, SEA are always viewed inferior than the west by many kpop fans here. Hypocrite keeps talking about racism controversy on kpop idol, i think the most racist are those kpop fans who always downplay china and SEA.

It really depends on the actual artists and where most of their revenue is coming from….

Like IU’s massive Korean popularity gives her the freedom to stay in Korea and ignore foreign markets.
