    Although I didn't finish watching it, she did pretty okay in One and Only. She was one of three leads and her group scenes were significantly better than her solo scenes. I wish she'd do more ensemble dramas or do memorable supporting roles to build her skills.

    Joy is pretty but she is not a good actress. I watched two of her dramas Tempted and The One and Only and you can see her weak points. For Tempted, Moon Gayoung was the star despite the show flopping. Even with the bad script Moon Gayoung and Kim Min Jae were delivering their lines well. Going through this again, it's quite funny how everyone criticized Moon Gayoung when she was early cast but ended up doing the best in the drama and her character ended up being the most memorable.


    And then in The One and Only Joy was paired with actors that can help levitate her character, Mido but her acting wasn't on par with the others and she was once again deadweight.


    Joy's acting is honestly a sore thumb. Yeri on the other hand is actually pretty good at acting. I'm surprised SM isn't pushing her as much compared to Joy. Her role in the web drama, Blue Birthday showcased her acting really well. It's a hidden gem that a lot of people should go watch. It was very enjoyable.

    Joy is prettier than most kdrama actresses. They're just jealous of her because she gets job offers all the time. Joy acting was not bad in her first drama and tempted drama, because I know I watched both shows. Those who haven't finished the series usually criticize her most. Last year's she's supporting role in the drama that drama was so boring, it's not Joy's fault, she can still improve. I think people expect more from Joy, that's why she is heavily criticized. It is never too late for succes, she's hard worker :finger-heart:
