They already have a string of failures that everyone saw on video and eventually lies uncovered including blaming a teacher for letting the gunman in. It was uncovered they got a kid accidentally shot (told a kid to scream for help, the gunman heard them and instantly shot them) so it’s not far out of the realm of possibility they did something like shoot a kid during a botched entry.
