Taeyeon's high note in Step Back is GODLY, SHE IS THE VOCAL BIBLE FFS!

I understand if the song isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is really well sung.

She's one of the best technical singers, but I wouldn't go as far as calling her "the vocal bible". Has she honestly influenced the K-Pop genre?

Horrible song. But Taeyeon's parts are amazing as usual.

She is THE voice of kpop tbh. No one else has such a level of technical ability, popularity, critical praise, success and influence she has in one package.

Not to be obnoxious, but the note she hits in Step Back is actually higher than I lol (She hits an F in Step Back and an E in I). But you're right that she can hit higher notes (her highest is G# in one of her b-sides called Fashion)

E# is an F and Fb is an E, it's interesting how you represented it that way because usually they're just called E or F lol. If you think about it, E# is the note that's a semitone above E (which is F) and Fb is the note that's a semitone below F (which is E). But yeah regardless they're both in the fifth octave and pretty high notes

Sorry I don't think I get what you're saying lol, do you mean F is a black key?? From this picture this is how I understand it:

All of the white keys are without the sharp or flats and all of black keys have them. The note in Step Back is an F, which is one semitone above an E (which is the note in I).
