Overall talent wise how do you rank these following 4th gen groups, aespa,idle,ive,itzy,

    it should be only based on overall talent and skill, not on popularity

    If we did this for 4th gen bgs a lot of people would say “they are all good no need to rank”

    g-idle - strong vocal, rapping and decent daning

    itzy - strong dancer, decent rapper, average vocal

    aespa - strong vocal, average dancer and rapper

    ive - average in everything.

    (G)i-dle is the undisputed #1. Everything they achieved, they did so on their own terms, with their own music, through sheer artistry and dedication. They have no less than three songwriters/producers within the group, which is unprecedented in gg history, and even barely seen among bg's.

    And of course, they have the best gg rapper and imo the best vocal line of their generation.


    For #2, it would be either Itzy or aespa. Itzy are better performers but aespa are better singers so I can't say one is strictly better than the other.


    And IVE for last. I'm not familiar with them so maybe I missed something about them, but from the little I've seen there's nothing outstanding talent wise. Even their fans tend to praise their visuals more than anything else it seems to me.

    The only things ITZY has going for them is their dance line. Idle only has barely average vocals and one good rapper. The only outstanding thing Aespa has is their vocal line. How is that much better than I’ve?

    IVE isn’t far worse than those groups. The other groups each excel at one thing (in idle‘s case ONE person excels at one thing) do the gap is by far not as large as you claim

    Lol at least the other groups are the best in at least one thing. Itzy have the best dance,aespa best vocal and g-idle best rapper. Stop being so pressed the other groups are way more talented.

    There's plenty others, but this is just a smattering of live performances.


    Idle's vocalists have an extensive vocal palette that covers a broad range. They have amazing vocal color.


    Not everything is about who can hit the highest note. They've also deliberately tried to ensure they keep and extend their vocal color.

    All are talented though but from what I have seen overall this is the closest ranking.

    Aespa - clearly really talented can improve in dancing

    Gidle - talented but can improve in all aspects especially dancing and singing judging from encores, but better than itzy.

    Itzy - clearly talented performers but can improve in singing and rapping and lia singled out with her dancing.

    Ive - need a lot of improving in all aspects lol they have no mains for anything.

    1. Gidle - G.O.A.T female idol rapper, strong vocals, average dancing, songwriting, composing, arranging, producing, overall concept creator

    2. Aespa - Strongest vocals, slightly above-average rapping, and average dancing

    3. Itzy - Strongest dancing, average vocals, and average rapping

    4. Ive - Good vocals, average rapping, and dancing

    I feel those who thinks aespa has better vocalist and dance than idle didn’t really follow them and didn’t watch queendom. If you listen to their albums, with headphones on, you’ll be blown away by their beautiful and unique vocal tones. Minnie and Yuqi are the best, very versatile
