It depends tho. Most idols say they're single but aren't only say that because they were asked and would stay quiet if they weren't asked about it but idk if Jennie said that because they asked. I do think that at the time she said that, either it's true or she just started dating again and isn't worried about people finding out and thinking she's a liar because it's recent and if people find out she could pretend that she wasn't dating yet at the time of the interview
