You know Asians only make up 6% of the population, right? You're not going to see a huge crowd full of Asians at a BLM protest because they only make up 6% of the population compared to the rest of the country. If you go to a state like California, where it's more diverse, you'll certainly see TONS of Asians protesting. In fact, Asians in California probably care more about black issues than Asian issues.

If feeling "backhanded" is really your reaction to people fighting against discrimination, you're doing something wrong.

Besides, BLM got way more support nationally and globally than any of this, so please try to look at things factually.

In response to your original post, I'm pretty sure the same could be said the other way around. BLM got so much traction and has been getting traction for years.

For years, it's pretty much the consensus for people not to be racist towards black people, but racism towards Asians stayed normalized through the use of microaggressions, which are often subtle disses.

I'm not saying black people don't face microaggressions. They certainly do, but for the most part, society knows not to make fun of black people or make racist remarks about black people.

Asian people have been going through it as well. You not hearing about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. This is nothing new. It just became "trendy" for the racists to come out and attack Asians.

BLM raised $90 million last year, by the way.

I'm not here to play this oppression Olympics game. Minorities in America need to shove that unnecessary BS aside and fix the root of the problem.

I hope you know why it's frustrating to see people with their performative activism, even when it comes to the current movement for Asians.

Also, please don't call it the "Asians Lives Matter" movement. That's not what it is. There's no need to equivocate it to BLM. Just call it #ProtectAsianLives, #AsiansAreHumans, or something like that.

I like this. Western pop was so great back in those days. I can see this being a hit anywhere from 2009 to 2017 American pop.

I hope you all appreciate this song as much as I do, especially the meaningful and wholesome lyrics, during these troubling times. I love the way he encompasses East and West. I’d love to hear more inclusions of traditional elements in modern music.

This is such a tough question.

Here are some cuisines I like:

Indian - Naan (Indian flatbread) tastes so good with dip. Samosas are great, too.

Mexican - Tacos, quesadillas, burritos.

American - Burgers, hotdogs, fries, mac and cheese.

Italian - Pizza, pasta.

Korean - Kimbap, KBBQ.

Japanese - Ramen, udon, takoyaki, sushi, soba.

Chinese - Too many great dishes to name.

I'll probably go with Japanese. I feel like it suits my taste buds the most since the flavoring is often on the subtle-to-moderate side. Anything that is too saucy, I find myself getting tired of rather quickly.

Let's take the "group" aspect out of this for a bit. Individually, the members have been trying to accomplish their goals and dreams in this industry for a while now.

It's nice to see them achieve what they did at this point in their careers. People are happy for them. That's all. There's also an element of nostalgia, especially among Korean fans, that factors into the song's recent success.
