I'm going to be honest. Without the weird rap and stupid lyrics and the even worse "SHEESH" part, this song could've been a good track, actually. I honestly liked the first 35 second, and that was all, basically. YG wasting talent, again! But hey, YG stans will love, the company will spend billions for AD views and 1 week later this MV will have 100M views, too, and we all know, the rest doesn't matter.
I think the girl with the thinnest voice, Pharita, she's not bad, but this style makes her voice even worse. Asa is a good rapper, but the lyrics are utter garbage. If I remember correctly she is a co-writer, too, maybe not on this "song", just on "Batter Up", but if she wrote her own lines here, I lost my interest in her, too.

There's nothing fresh in stuck in the middle, it sounds dated like the rest of the album sans like that. I just realized it's a charlie puth song. he should have done all songs because like that is the only song that sounds like it's from 2024.

But doesnt every music video have a similar ratio? For example, bp dddd have 2b views and 23m likes. Newjeans hype boy have 167m views and 1,5m likes. Ive after like have 267m views and 2.8m likes. Lsf easy have 70m views and 1m likes.
What I mean is that unproportional ratio between views and likes is very common, so not really an indicator of ads.
Young Posse, which I actually know is using ads bc it showed on my yt, have a more alarming ratio than Illit: 65k likes, 10m views.
and yet baby monster's batter up first 24 hours is 22.5M youtube views and 1.37M likes. Definitely far better ratio than above and yet haters are calling them ads heavy! hmmm
