From the start, I always found it strange how people were defending MHJ and NewJeans. Back then, when I posted something saying "this isn't it," I got all kinds of responses and was called a HYBoong, Bang Sihyuk's part-timer, etc.
What really shocked me was realizing just how poor the general public's reasoning could be.
It made me feel a kind of despair. If someone with enough public influence pushes an emotional narrative and goes viral, that becomes the dominant opinion? It was scary.
In the end, I learned the truth that people always return to common sense.
But now, looking at how far it swung back, I almost feel sorry when I see the current public sentiment toward NewJeans.
