This is NCT's original concept. It was announced since the get go that they'll keep debuting news units with localised concepts.
2nd, logically speaking if SM couldn't handle debuting a new unit they wouldn't do it. And judging from the immense budget they dished out on NCT Dream's and ÆSPA's comebacks, it doesn't seem like they're going to let this financial problem hinder their music related spendings.
Finally, I don't really care for SM's finances as long as they don't impact the music and the art, I just wanted to point out that the losses aren't caused because of the music business and groups which is a new narrative some people have been trying to push in the past 2 days.
I know what NCT's concept is. The budget they use for their music relate spending is from their overall profits and with the way things are looking rn, logically speaking, if there isn't some kind of turnaround soon, it doesn't seem like a good business idea to debut another group and adding on to the burden. If they can pull it off then good but even the most successful businesses make unwise decisions.

Their financial troubles have nothing to do with the artists or the music business. It's all because of their other sub labels and side businesses
Doesn't change the fact that creating a new group (and TV show apparently) adds on to the overall financial burden they're facing now when profits for SM aren't looking too good

Their financial performance is so bad that they've downgraded from a blue chip company to a mid-size business. If they can pull off this NCT Hollywood thing then great but creating new subunits when the performance of the groups you have now isn't keeping the foundation stable seems like an unwise business move.
Push the current groups and artists more, bring in new ppl with fresh ideas into the conference meetings, etc. Anything but debuting a new group :confused:

Defocusing your eyes is when you're able to give yourself blurry vision on command by relaxing the ciliary muscles. If you really relax the muscles you can even give yourself blurred horizontal double vision
I thought that everyone could do it but apparently they can't. I do it sometimes when I space out or lost in my thoughts.
