First of all, let’s get one thing clear: victim blaming is absolutely unacceptable, regardless of the circumstances. It doesn’t matter if the woman was dancing on a table, drunk, or sober. What a woman is doing or how she’s behaving does not give anyone the right to violate her personal boundaries. Touching someone without their consent is a violation, period. The fact that you’re trying to downplay it because they were both intoxicated is deeply troubling.
Secondly, the idea that someone’s actions are less serious or should be excused because they were drunk or didn’t "intend" to harm is incredibly dangerous. Being intoxicated is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior. Whether or not someone is found legally guilty, the impact of their actions on the victim is real and cannot be dismissed. Your defense of Onew by claiming that what he did wasn’t sexual harassment and insisting that calling it such is “crossing the line” is not only dismissive of the victim’s experience but perpetuates harmful narratives that minimize the seriousness of such incidents.
Apologies and hiatuses do not erase the harm caused. The fact that he wasn’t "caught again" doesn’t mean the incident didn’t happen or that it wasn’t significant. We must hold people accountable for their actions, regardless of their intentions, especially when it involves crossing personal boundaries. Dismissing it as "not that serious" or “not proven” only contributes to a culture where victims feel silenced and invalidated.
To sum up: You don’t get to dictate how serious someone’s experience is or dismiss it because it doesn’t fit your narrative. Whether or not the court found someone guilty is not the only measure of right and wrong. Respect, consent, and boundaries are non-negotiable, and excusing or minimizing harmful behavior is both irresponsible and damaging.
No one is victim blaming him here! Did he touch her yes! Was it against her consent yes! Did he do anything than touching her legs? No! And he was trying to stand up and touched her leg because of that not because he had sexual harassing intentions! Was he held accountable at that time? Yes he was! Was there any evidence proving that he sexually harassed her by his friends and people who were present at the bar and cctv? No
And why we are judging only his behaviour not the girls too? Is it ethical to straight up dance on the table above the males possibly causing sexual desire of sitting men? Or is it a normal thing in any culture? It can be classified as stripping?
Yes we can speculate that he did was harmful, but he didn’t go further coercing her to do smth! Yes it can traumatic but both sides are equally accountable in this situation! I don’t think that in any culture Dancing on the table showing all of your intimate places below to males is normal?
And yes you can say that he harassed her by touching her legs but how can you categorise this as sexual harassment viewing these circumstances? And how we can believe that woman’s words because she was also intoxicated as him!
And if he wasn’t caught again then it doesn’t mean he didn’t do these kind of actions? Yes! But it is also wrong to speculate that he continued to do such things!

And can you explain to me what I’m crazy about?
Stating facts as it is- wrong these days?
And we are talking about Onew and I won’t baby him nor his situation but calling him sexual harasser is crossing the lines and limits! What he did was wrong- yes! But it is not an SA and wasn’t proven either end of discussion! He apologised, was put into hiatus and was never caught again doing that thing!

If reporting won’t change anything nobody would’ve reported to police then!
And I’m tired of pseudo feminists-mysandrists who only blame everything on males! It just shows how far of delusional you are that you believe to your own made up fantasies! If you hate men then directly say it! He was proven innocent end of discussion! Your made up theories won’t change anything either!

Yet only her boyfriend insisted to report him and nobody in that bar have reported anything!
Just because he touched that woman’s leg as railing while he was drunk can’t be categorised as SA!
Yes what he did was unethical but he had no intensions to do so, and both of them were intoxicated at that moment! And why the hell she was dancing on their table then?

The crazy lengths fans go to defend a sexual harasser.
He apologised for that situation and never have done that again! He wasn’t found guilty or proven that he sexually harassed her!
If you willl again accuse him of Sexual Harassment than I would like to ask mods to ban him!
If you don’t know sh*t about that situation then don’t comment

Why would it take the police 2 months to inform someone they're being accused of SA? I understand investigation taking time but I don't understand why it would take that long to even simply tell him? Like did they not call him in to be questioned? Or did they not take this seriously at all until the recent crack down on SA chatrooms ?
When the crack of SA chat-rooms happened?
-
Is police obliged to inform Accused party about investigation right away according SK laws?
-
That woman was dancing on the table where onew was sitting with his friends! Both of them were drunk! And he tried to stand up by supporting on her legs! It is not a sexual harassment bfr!

Please be serious and get your facts straight!
He was with his friends and was drunk! So he unconsciously touched a leg of the girl thinking as some kind support or railing and she didn’t even insisted on any kind of Investigation! Her friend wanted to report and Onew himself insisted on investigation so everything would be clear! He didn’t have any kind of bad intentions and never have done this again!

More like 1-1.5 month since they were informed in the beginning of August!
And I guess the victim side insisted on not informing Taeil and SM since SM can potentially sweep everything under the rug
And Taeil only was investigated in 28th of August
So SM didn’t hide anything as people have been claiming
-
The thing I'm wondering now is if other members knew about this before
Probably not even SM didn’t know! If his members would know than Taeyeong as a leader in my opinion would have told to SM and they would try to do smth even before investigation began! But it seems like police kept investigating secretly and only in August they informed SM and Taeil
