MHJ saying that Le Sserafim needs her permission to be Louis Vuitton ambassadors was one of the most petty things ever

she sent a whistleblower e-mail complaining about lsfm getting a louis vuitton brand deal, how do you take anything else she says seriously. the only similarities i see between illit and newjeans is the fact that they're five and debuted with long black hair. illit is not Y2K like newjeans. i saw idiotic comparisons on twitter and it's basically "look 5 asian girls with long hair looking the same way". the songs are not similar (apparently if you dont do a girl crush music concept you're immediately copying newjeans?), the concept is not the same (girls with powers??), but sure, a messy locker room justifies an FTC complaint?

it could be true, fans could have been talking about the similarities between NewJeans and illit

But we are fans on a random forum, not CEOs of a subsidiary under HYBE, she should know better than to act like a kpop stan in real life

I said it like billion times in this thread and I'll repeat, everyone was acknowledging the similarity of Illit's concept to that of New Jeans until MHJ said it out loud. Suddenly everyone changed their mind and is acting like they never said that :pepe-narrow-eyes:

Has MHJ explained these kakao messages?

(After recruiting Newjeans' parents) → this was censored before.

    From reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/…&utm_content=share_button

    1. She doesnt want anyone mentioning NewJeans but she can mention them and use them as shield in every presscon. Text messages detail MHJs plans about going public and claim mistreatment before New Jeans comeback even if HYBE doesnt go public.

    2. If the texts were obtained using illegal means, they she should sue HYBE, instead of whining in a presscon. If she also believes in her plagiarism allegations, she should sue hybe too.

She wont, she knows her claims hold no real value

    3. She has been seeking for investors, ways to take over the company, ways to buy new jeans contracts, ways to get out without paying. And reached the conclusion that the best way is to claim mistreatment. And that is exactly what she is doing. If these are jokes, then are pretty detailed and consistent jokes about leaving hybe and destroying hybe's reputation

    4. She can have all the shaman friends she wants, she cant share confidential info about hybe with her shaman. Thats the issue. Also, there were accusation of her paying the shaman with HYBE money and invoicing it as "cleaning services"

If hybe should focus on legal issues, she should focus on legal issues too. Stop crying and making emotional appeals every presscon

its just a play with words from MHJs lawyers.

Apparently, the youtuber has the chats that were presented to the court. Imagine pages and pages of black and white chatlogs.

So the chats the reporter presents are indeed edited to look like an actual kakaotalk, but that doesnt mean they edited in the sense of creating a whole conversation that didnt exist

Chats exposed by that youtuber. Possibly real as his previous one also seems to be real(but claimed by mhj to be 'out of context', edited ).

R U Next (reality show were illit was formed) was supposed to air in 2021/2022. They group wasnt planned to counter New Jeans

    If the argument is:

    1. Illit shouldnt have debuted because they compete directly with New Jeans"

    2. illit shouldnt have debuted because other labels dont do so

    The the answer is:

    1. By that logic, New Jeans shouldnt have debuted cause they compete with LSF as 4th gen gg

    2. MHJ signed for a company with a multilabel system, when she signed they already had 4 boygroups and were planning to debut more. Ig she expected them to work like SM/JYP is her fault, it was pretty clear from thw beginning there were gonna be several hybe girl groups

The world doesnt orbit around MHJ and NewJeans, she doesnt understand that and even thinks LSF should ask for her permission before becoming Louis Vuitton ambassadors
