honestly we won’t know until new jeans has more music. i’ve has proved they can retain a core following with a lot of music.

i mean we’ve literally had several articles with idols who were like yeah i was the unpopular member and it sucked.

wonyoung and yujin are very popular and are pushed the most. nothing wrong with pushing them, but at least make an effort to give the other girls their flowers. the music videos are egregious tbh. they should do the nmixx thing and focus certain songs on certain members

i love my faves but i never want them to do well with songs i find musically lacking. if other ppl get something more artistic/authentic out of the sound i’m happy for them.

i didn’t like super shy for newjeans and so i got annoyed when it did so well. i like a lot of ives music too so i just want to see them develop in a musical direction i like

a lot of these are from non fans but as a fan:

-zero is good and it’s not that experimental

-super shy feels bland and corporate

-i didn’t like how tight the outfits were in super shy mv

-the dancing is amazing but the facial expressions of alll members can be a bit boring. happy and fun gets boring too,

-asap should win for best music video and

-newjeans fits ethereal concepts better than y2k

mushrooms are kinda hard because they take so much effort to grow. like you need an contained airflow thing to do the petri dish swabs and they require many different stages of growth and care that all has to be completely sterile.

even a little exposure will contaminate a whole batch, and even if you’re careful you have to be prepared to lose at least half the batch. so all of this is done en masse so you have some left at the end

i don’t really care if idols do drugs, life is hard. sometimes whatever you can get to get through the day. my best friend literally has done lines off my cds. but because i’m messy here are my theories

1. Blackpink

jennie and lisa probably do drugs, maybe even rosie. at this point they are the most independent idols in a major gg, as in they can do whatever. definitely at least weed, idk about the others but jennie has gone to big hollywood parties so she’s probably tried coke at least once. honestly they all give me big vape energy

2. G-idle. they are also very independent at this point. they’ve done english releases and promoted in the US. they’ve all probably tried weed at least once/ been around weed. anything harder than that? idk they seem like they’re too focused on their career rn but anything’s possible

3. other groups that i think have a very small chance but i wouldn’t be surprised:

aespa, twice, … maybe itzy?

aespa maybe because touring

twice because longevity (i would be surprised if they’ve never smoked together by now)

itzy because maybe lia? she has been gone for a bit. ryujin maybe because she has that laid back chill vibe but also has lost a lot of dance power

get up is like a perfect 30 seconds. sometimes that’s all you need

beauty is kinda made up. we assign certain features value because it’s harmonious/symmetrical. All the members look nice together. i think they’re all so pretty!newjeans beauty works well right now because it’s so harmonious, and their beauty works perfectly for their concept and music.

and of course i bias kim minji someone who i think is one of the most beautiful i’ve ever seen.
