Starship is smart, kiii2 don't have well known members and company stans so being associated with njz and H2H will keep them being talked about and hopefully their debut song took off because if, not all this marketing and promo will be in vain. To have company stans, Sse needs to have 2 very successful group in a row.

like I said on the other sites, Kpop declining in Korea is natural because of low birth and companies keeps on debuting new groups. So late 4th & new gen debutants will find it very hard to gaining national popularity. Which means they need to look at other market to expand because Koreans usually only stanning 1 group and with their populations keeps declining its very hard to replicating the popularity of their seniors (who's gonna be their fans?)
Japan: their have their own market and it's big + they got low birth problem + 312432 companies already debuting japanese members so the effect it's already dispersing
US: the have their own market and it's the biggest market
China: THAAD and cultural clash with Koreans
which means the only one big market left is SEA in particular Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand (based on the statistics), so the answer should be debuting members from either these 3 countries to expand the fanbase. YG already knew about this and SM is taking notes with debuting Indonesian member

The charting : need to hear the song first because its ultimately depends how good it is
fandom power/voting/views: obviously it will be H2H because they are from SM and they have SEA member. Kiikiii don't have well known members like IVE was and company stan so they need to have better song than H2H to beat their hype.

By charting I mean kcharts because for international charts H2H has the edge . I think they will entering spotify global at debut since they have Indonesian member so they have streaming farms taking notes from YG gg strategy.

You actually don’t know how constant US promo is important. If you stop the promo then you will fell off in US as a kpop artist unless you are BTS or BP.
For example NJs debuted with 126k copies on bb200 with Get Up. And in 2024 they didn’t even debut on bb200 if I’m not wrong, and they are not even on this list….. They just disappeared from bb200 in 2024.
Or when SM promoted Aespa more or less in US in 2022, they debuted with 56k copies on bb200 with Girls album.
And with Whiplash they had 17k copies……
See how much of a difference it is?
They also have a sh*tty distributor on top of that.
Their US fanbase increased a lot which we can see by their touring numbers( around 80 k compared to 40k in 2023) but because they had 0 promo in 2024 and they had horrible distributor, their sales declined a lot compared to 2022.

aespa's stage was very lackluster. they were supposed to be the main event.
other groups who got less awards gave better performances (ateez, g-idle, ive). their last year stage was better than this year. this year everything was rushed, lipsyncing, and they added only some dance breaks (mostly their dancer) to their regular stage routine. Their outfit was amazing, one of their best outfits. i didn't know what happened. Did MMA not pay them enough ? I don't even know.
I liked this part, the stage become interesting because of this. Unfortunately she's wear a turtleneck so the ink its not really shown
