3 huge problem:
First, is the lack of the Koreans members. Only 3 out of 7 members. At least Korean nationality should be equal or more to gain Korean public attention.
Second is lack of promo. Hybe is become one of the big company, so automatically every group that Hybe debuting will gain netizen attention so the market its more competitive. Also Hybe is pumping out 90970 new groups each year, so every rookie including new group that come from other big company need promo to gain attention, BP tactic isn't worked anymore in todays market.
Third, producer crisis. YG hasn't got the right producer to replace Teddy.

Arent most kpop groups depends sea for streams? Why are we discriminate against Sea here? Even Lisa got most of her streams from Sea anyway. Thailand alone gave her 2M streams on debut.
people should celebrate sea streams, these countries make kpop relevance and seeing most groups tour sea recently and think they deserve it.
Even if some GG groups have U.S streams, they will last no longer than a few days on the chart and most of these stream come from army anway. It also sea streams that given longevity to most of the top GG right now after the first few months.

What I can see in this thread that, people like to use selective arguments which benefits their faves but ignoring the metrics that in downward trends. They never appear on Jp Terrestial channel before. At least they can chart multiple songs in top charts and becoming #1 in Line.

Another factor is that once a big company has debuted a younger girl group, they will be given the best songs and producers and any older groups will be given the leftovers.
Cosmic is produced by the guys who produced peek a boo .So they still getting songs from the producer that used to work from them before aespa debuted.
Yeah but its seems their US distributors is changed to Virgin Music. I think after kakao took over the warner deal fell through because lsm left.
