Solar charted multiple songs in the top 20. At least one in the top 10. And these weren't even promoted singles. They were her solo directed and produced project "Solar's Emotion", which is still going to this day. She was the first Mamamoo member to chart multiple songs on MelOn.
Moonbyul sold the most albums, and her biggest hit was a top 20 song, "Selfish", featuring Seulgi.
So it's not like the unnie line has had no chart success, but the maknae line were the digital powerhouses.
To answer the question of this thread, globally, nobody has done what BP is doing.
In Korea, objectively speaking, no group has done what the Mamamoo members have yet, and they were the first.

No one knows Mamamoo in the US? They literally #1 best-selling girl group EVER with their debut US tour, after 10 years, beating BP's debut US tour record, and they're in Rolling Stone's TOP100 Greatest Korean Pop songs of All-Time! Again, without doing promotions!
15 minute fame? She's literally the most successful 3rd gen soloist, but okay. She beat Blackpink's "How You Like That" alone on charts with Maria, just sayin'. Has more All-Kill, Music Show wins and solo Awards than any BP member. And won Icon of The year in 2024! Doing all this without being a member of an overhyped group. But please, talk more. 😅

Sure, but a small agency groups can't have the same sales as a BIG4 group, that's why being successful can mean different things. Mamamoo always fought 2 hands tight behind their back. So, the fact that they're still successful worldwide, not just in Korea without any real promotion from their company, means they're more successful than basically every BIG4 soloist since the 3rd gen.
And as Yama already said, they're the 1st 3rd gen soloist setting many records, and yes, neither of those are massive sale or streaming numbers, but still, even today, no other group member soloist achieved those stats since the 3rd gen.
Im sure no one even knows mamamoo in the US even more in korea now they are obsolete landing any billboard chart is impossible with how nugu they are generally

Idk if theyre paid or not but that gurl already has a fairly huge fanbase that she has cultivated since her childhood.
She was a child model, trended in korea several times for her looks, endorsed by BP themselves, has a decent following on socials so I wouldn't be surprised if it's them showing up for support.

Anna is great too, her looks are esp so striking she stands out and her vocals are really nice but not showcased as much. In fact I love vocals from all 5 and I would really like if they use them more in thier B sides because Teddy signature sound doesn't use them as much.
Ella gets least mentioned by me, I feel bad but when you see the any video her fans are commenting I droves lol so I think she is good.
same sometimes it makes me wonder if its just paid fans I myself find Ella the least favorite considering shes the most famous.
