What else is new? People will always have to say something about BlackPink, they might as well come out as stans.
They even know more news about BP than me, an actual Blink
-
You're also an Uncle Roger fangirl
I'm not into Uncle Roger haiyaaaah!

We could do like Elon Musk
Everytime someone complains about something, they lose 8 akorns
The I'll be negative.

Hey! Me predictions are valuable to blinks ✨
True though. Reminds us that we're called the Delulu fandom for a reason.

Excuse me? There was a disclaimer!

You've been talking to Roses-are-Rosie way too much.

People invest in their community when they feel they're valued.
Taking away akorns from Guilds just makes it plain evident that we're not valued.
I will still talk in the guild, as I care about people there. But AKP in general .... hmmm
Remember our discussion about making sure we have somewhere to talk to each other if all goes down?

actually I'm gonna make a separate thread on why akp doesn't feel like a community rn and probably never will again
May I be tagged?

Doesn't this site earn money through ads? That means you need more clicks to the site. Which also means you can earn money from users who don't even register to the site. Imo, the forum can earn more money by removing the rule that doesn't let lurkers read beyond the first page. I know some might be wary of this idea and that lurkers wouldn't join the forum, but wouldn't they be more likely to join after exploring the site and learning about the community?
It was available before, which actually made me join because so many people were funny. Even when they were fighting.

The reason people don’t pay for akorns isn’t because it’s easy to get them for free… it’s because they don’t see the value in putting money into the site. You can remove free akorns completely and that’s still not going to change because to most people the only things of “value” to spend akorns on are tiny pictures and gifs and it’s entirely possible to use this site just fine without those.
Site management (not you) has continued to make it abundantly clear that they don’t actually care about building a community or most of the users who frequent this site so why would I want to contribute money to that in the form of buying akorns? If the site doesn’t care if I’m here then why do I care if the site is here?
This one right here. I don't know why Ripia facepalmed this, but people are leaving the site. Users I used to joke around with aren't here anymore and they're mostly the reason I visit here. Not to mention many are also busy, it's the holiday season, AND people are simply getting tired of KPop as they're growing older.
So why was AKP made in the first place? Upper management should consider their branding and purpose well, or else it just feels like a money-making scheme that capitalized on what's trendy which is/was KPop. It seems that there was a time that it thrived on threads that are made to earn the ire of people from certain fandoms because it helps with the engagement but isn't going to work long time. Look at Anons...it worked but at what expense? Most MYs left because Aespa's usually the punching bag. Followed by BP, BTS, or Stray Kids depending on who people wanted to hate on that day.
It seems to me that AKP is only known for KPop, which is not good branding. It has to stand on its own outside of the industry even if it is about it.

So much content! Finally! This still doesn’t feel real.
I was about to title this post with something similar but people might say I'm overdoing it. It does feel like that, though.
