And I think to compare a 2nd generation group with a 4th generation is a little bit out of place. Different time, different taste.

I have to admit that I liked everything from YG back then, even if it had more to do with the artists than with YG. The reason was simply the music genre. Some companies tend to change just a little bit, but still go in the same direction. At the time, I could have been called a company stan even when I wasn't. Many people associate the company with what they like.

Basically I think a lot of company stans just search for the same style over and over again. Sure there are excursions, but each company has a special style that they follow.

I hate comparisons thread.

I can already see how I'm getting a headache, knowing the direction this thread will take.

Even if one group dominates the poll more than the other, it is very interesting to see that both groups still divide the minds and people can't decide.

Just shows me what a legendary legacy both will leave behind.

not a YG fan but as long as the girls get the best contract with everything they wishes for I would be very happy when they would resign. Another guess may be that they signed as a group, but other companies are supposed to take over the individual activities and YG is trying to get that as well.

I doubt that BP will disband.

It is almost impossible to compare to groups now as the scene is so different. NJs had the benefit of debuting at time when Kpop is at its peak in popularity. Twice and BP debuted before that and rode the wave of thats success and was partly responsible for that growth behind BTS, EXO and other groups.

NJs is undeniably great and will probably accomplish even more things. They will sell well, chart well, and I think your very well. They will have a legacy when they are finished which will be hard to top. But comparing them to groups which had to develop their own international fanbase from the base that was a lot smaller than NJs is weird as hell.

Aside from the fact that I'm impressed how a thread about NJ suddenly becomes a BTS vs Blackpink thread I ask everyone to slow down. Basically there have been comments on both sides now that have already scratched the edge of respectable. One user (who, by the way, does not take part in the conversation) throws something into the room and you all fight, without real understanding.

I don't ask you to be super nice to each other. I just ask to stop being disrespectful.
