Lol. More than double and yet we get people implying BTS's isn't kpop's peak.

Idk what to say about this. I got told to "move on to my new faves" who coincidently are from same parent company which could imply that I'm a company stan even though i never defended any of actions of company and myself don't like the way they are managing my OG faves. That's just how i feel but idk the inside story. So, i shouldn't jump to conclusion immediately.

That being said, i find the manager ones more annoying, especially after the initial contract period. Because, my faves aren't kids, if they renewed their contract that means they are happy with their current arrangements. And in many cases, the manager ones turn out to be akages who create further dividence in the fandom. That's what I think.

Edit: if it isn't clear, i also don't like the company stans who try to justify all of the company's actions.

At the very least, get your facts right. Dynamite the very first song by Korean act to chart no. 1 on Spotify global 200.

Also charting depends on competition. Both dynamite and butter were up against viral songs. Why don't you compare number of streams as that is much more relevant.

None of the popular groups today are underdogs. If anyone thinks companies like starship and cube are some nobodies, they are probably new to kpop. Even stayc has the backing of One of the most well known pd in bep.

The only popular group whom i might consider underdog is probably ateez.

You know full well itunes is fandom dominated and YouTube is weighted less by billboard compared to other PAID streaming services. So that leaves only AM.

As for that chart, even shut down (which peaked #3 Spotify USA) couldn't enter AM USA top 100. So you gonna gonna call them fraud over it?

The fact NJ is more streaming dependent like a typical western artist instead of being sales dependent like every other kpop group was bound to rattle some cages. So this isn't surprising at all.

And after all that talk about how "BP has more mass appeal than BTS", users like you would have a hard time digesting this.

Now we wait for mhj to claim that hybe doesn't have any credit to NJ success. Poor hybe turned into a kdrama second lead.
