When I do encounter them on my feeds, Rose seems to have the most substance and Lisa the least.

But I just take that as my subjective opinion, shrug and move on.
She does not lack 'likers' and won't miss me.. so I am not going to 'struggle' about that.
Is any 'popularity' actually deserved?
Talent, hard work, even looks are not that uncommon, yet only certain professions and even within those professions only a tiny percentage become 'popular'
So what is the point of quibbling over who is more popular in that already super tiny dubiously deserving.

It depends on their stature, agency setup etc.,
If someone like IU, G-Dragon, Taeyeon etc., feel strongly about it. Also it is easier in case of soloists.
With groups, supposing everyone in TWICE agree that X song is a better TT than Y, then they probably can push for it. But it is rare to get everyone on the same page.
Again the seniority, the talents of the group makes a difference.

So it is a mix of different factors. Solo/Group, Seniority/Experience, nature of the group - self producing or not etc.,

No such thing about Bunnies have come to my notice, no such new items.
What I meant as being not invested, is that in both cases I don't go looking for such things, the news/behaviour must be prominent/widespread enough to hit my feed.

Whichever fandom, I still don't get why fans defend the fandom?
I get if they want to defend the group, members etc., but there is something disturbing about the need to defend the fandom.
Weird, why the heck should I care about some stranger with whom the only thing I share is a preference towards an artist.
That is more stupid than defending a national or religious identity, which at least has real world implications.
I guess when the happens i.e. the fans are defending the fandom, even on things unrelated to the idol group, that it becomes a cult.

Also, "Supernova" was ahead, not all their music. Armageddon dropped. Hot Mess dropped. All their solo tracks dropped. They weren't all hits or even close.
IVE essentially charted all their songs, at least briefly at worst. aespa did not.

I was looking only at music and in 2024 Aespa's new music was ahead of all the 2024 releases, Circle/Melon - not Gallup.
