Well, a group can always cancel, it happens all the time. But Dreamcatcher has no reason to disband anyway. If anything, it shows that the original MINX members probably signed new contracts when they redebuted as DC. If so, they shoud remain under contract until late 2023.
DC sold 126k of their last release and are actually one of the few K-Pop groups who tour globally, hopefully they will be fine

JYP's recruitment and strategy of closely watching personality traits, focusing on the integrity of their trainees and trying to shape them as good human beings = a good % of genuine types in their groups

I would like to think GFriend was genuine most of the time and I also want to think lots of people giving support messages and remembering the times they spent with them when they were active means they actually were genuine.
I got that feeling as well they seem a nice group

I think if you are mega rich and successful you will eventually dictate your own terms. Does anyone fall out of love with singing and dancing really? I think where idols have lost the love is where they've been exploited, hated on and not paid for their work but BTS are in dreamland on all counts : sales, great songs, they all look happy, the biggest most protective fandom in K-Pop history.

I'm loving it I think CGI is probably getting cheaper now with more powerful software available to MV producers, the more crazy stuff we see the better I love all the CGI in Next Level and First.

No. Source music blocked them and copyrighted the name before they left the company. They could form under a different name though. Think Highlight and BEAST. That may not hold up in court but they did it.
If I were GFriend I would reform under a new name, go back to concepts they like and leave the past as is. If Source don't allow them to play their old songs live it won't look good. If I was JYP I would sign them up, he loves girl groups knows what to do and the backing of his company could take them even higher.
That is if the members actually want to continue as a group and they haven't had enough...

I think it depends of what you with "go on". They will probably get in a "late" period where they are not disbanding but it's longer periods between the singles, maybe 6-9 years if you include the late "slow period".
I agree there will be a slow down with reduced comebacks most likely someone will probably get married in the middle of all of that as well

They won't disband because of the military though they'll just carry on like other groups have

What do you think ? I say another 10 years, when you look at the longevity of Big Bang, Shinee, Super Junior - could they even do a Shinwa?

I WILL DEBUT WITH A K-POP SONG ONE DAY !!!!

I remember when Momoland were on like 300 million views and Yeonwoo said she hadn't been paid, now I don't know if that's down to MLD or they genuinely weren't making any money but if just 0.5% of those views somehow turned into a digital single purchase they would have made hundreds of thousands of dollars from that song.
If you can afford to buy say one ice cream, a coffee or a couple of cans of drink why not help out a struggling idol instead!
