It just means that they have funding. They have to keep a cast/crew employed, because contracts. Maybe they're doing reshoots to change the plot, maybe the plot was never what was released to the public. But I wouldn't place anything on "they're still shooting". All that means is the company hasn't pulled funding (yet).
JTBC released a statement saying the drama has nothing to do with glorifying NK or espionage and yet I see someone in this thread continuing to say the main plotline is a romance with a North Korean spy. We still have no idea what the show is about, so preemptively spreading a plot that is literally all just speculation is quite stupid.
The writers/production team and many of the shows actors are respected and very famous in SK, so I highly doubt they would have agreed to work on/created a project that is as tasteless and offensive as people on Akp seem to desperately want it to be. I agree that if their history is distorted or trivialized Koreans have a right to be upset but the drama hasn’t aired and people don’t know anything about the plot so everyone should stop jumping the gun until more details are released

It's a "black COMEDY" about a serious part of Korean history (actually, it seems to combine two parts of Korean history) that shouldn't be comedic, and it uses real people's names to represent protestor characters that are fictionalized. Plus apparently the plot is "protestor falls in love with other protester who turns out to be a SPY", which is a) ridic; b) insulting to the actual people who got tortured over this and whose names they're using.
That's the two-sentence explanation. Also, torture is never funny, and real people got disappeared and killed for this.
Edit: also, the woman whose name they're using for Jisoo's character was in a serious accident years ago and lost 70% of her brainpower, which means her power to consent is limited. So there's that too.
I'm really curious to see if this would be the actual stage choreo. It ignores some of her standout high notes in favor of dancing to the under-harmony (see 2:08 or 2:44, where the track is hitting a high note and the dance is coordinated to the harmony instead of the standout note). It does several times in the choreo. I'd expect that onstage she'd want to emphasize those notes.

No, Cube's lawyers are probably the ones who advised her to ask for it. The more material gets out in public, the more you can look for something to disprove. She's staying silent because the first rule of lawsuits is SHUT UP, but the more they get her accuser to talk, the more material they have.

Look, these companies don't need the artists, they can find other spokespeople. You think it hurts Adidas if Jackson Wang won't model for them? Nah. You think Nike cares if a certain star refuses them? No. These companies are big enough that they'll find ways to promote regardless. The only thing accomplished by these idols stepping down is that they lose money, and they appease the Chinese state, which doesn't like it when people admit they're committing genocide.
