Untouchable > No more >>>>>>>> Dash

I prefer when the title track is released and promoted 1st, and they promote another song of the album as a follow-up later on.
-
I dont think their new song is any worse than any recent release by their peers so I would say the issue is their marketing.
I still believe the song will start getting traction as they start promoting/performing it though.

Do people just wake up one day and decide a new generation has started? I think we are still very well into 4th generation right now...

Why are those award ceremonies suddenly all taking place abroad anyway?

I like Aespa - Better Things the best.

rather than that they are already filming groups departing to Jakarta for GDA
Ah yeah, there is GDA too. Lots of idols at the airport today, an heaven for reporters.
-
To be fair a lot of artists are coming back from the SMA this morning so reporters are already posted at the airport anyway (so hard to tell who they were specifically waiting for).

The dispatch couple was rumored to be between a 4th and a 2nd gen idol. People usually do not like big age gaps so I am guessing this assumption probably comes from the fact that Sakura and Taemin are respectively some of the oldest 4th generation and youngest 2nd generation idols kpop fans are familiar with?

I think its allowed to release content during enlistment. What is not allowed is make profit during that period.

What a waste of energy. Dog pilling on her like that is doing nothing to solve the actual issue or help the people of Gaza.

I think the dating "scandal" hurt him a lot.
He was "too new" to be "playing around" instead of working hard as well (not my opinion, but that of quite a few of his former fans).
Nope, what really hinders him is not having access to the kind of ressources and exposure that a big company usually offers.
The dating scandal was years ago, it might have had an initial impact on a portion of his fandom back then but his fandom was still strong regardless.
We tend to underestimate how much company backing and connections play in getting access to exposure and marketing push. Daniel is now independent so every opportunity he gets, he had to go and negotiate himself to get it, with his name and branding as only leverage. Navigating the industry as an independant entity is just a lot harder (but that's the price to pay for complete freedom over your career).
Also, the current market for male solo idols ( and by "solo idols", I mean actual soloists, without a group) is not that flourishing in general. If you actually compare Daniel with his other soloist counterparts (ex: other former W1 or X1 members) he is actually doing quite well despite everything.

Kang Daniel too!
He was doing fine at the beginning of it but not so much anymore lol (I think?)Yes Kang Daniel too. And he is still doing fine. He releases music regularly with goods sales, can tour and get regular big opportunities (be it acting or mc-ing big shows). Fyi, he just won an award today at the KBS entertainment Awards...
That means his labels functionning and can get him work and regular activities in the competitive and big corporation-focused industry that is the kpop industry (not easy for independent labels).
