Every night has never been remembered. A masterpiece, though. EXID and Hani's best era in my opinion

How is it possible that I always relate to your posts?!
I probably know the answer, but have you listened to Park Bom's Along My Way feat. Masta Wu? I have a feeling you might like it.

There was a commercial on TV and I forgot what it was advertising but it was a popular product and it was playing the instrumental of Dynamite. It really is a popular song in the USA.
The 2021 New Year countdown played Twice I Can't Stop Me and small snippets of More & More which I was super duper happy about.
Finally, I never heard a KPOP song on mainstream pop music radio but I heard it on iHeartRadio play sometimes but it was never mostly Korean songs (except I've heard Sour Candy and Kiss & Make Up), it was always Blackpink Ice Cream and Bet U Wanna (I haven't heard any of the other Eng songs of The Album) because I guess collaborations with popular western artists helped Blackpink internationally. I definitely heard Dynamite many times, it's like really popular in USA and I'm so happy about that.
I get generally happy whenever I hear a KPOP song in real life that is not from my KPOP friends irl or from me.
It's really amazing the popularity our beloved kpop has been getting internationally. I'll pass out when I listen to Twice playing on the radio or in the mall.

I don't listen to radio (it's very rare) I think I only listened gangnam style on the radio I never felt the surprise of hearing the kpop song on the radio but if it's playing on the most watched show (in this moment) on BR it must be playing on the radios!
I wouldn't know either, but yeah, if it's playing in BBB it's probably playing on the radios... I hope hihi

I'm gonna assume being in Korea and hearing about SNSD on the radio doesn't count so I'm gonna go ahead and say 2012 because Gangnam Style in America.
Aw, Gangnam Style caught every kpop fan back then by surprise

The year was 2014, halfway through July. It was a pretty cold day, as I recall, and had to go do groceries.
I got in my car and my radio was at a "old" people station. I had traveled for about 2 minutes when it happend: Girl's Day's Somenthing started playing on the radio that only played music from the 70's and 80's.
I screamed! I turned around and ran back home. I had to show my sister what was playing on the radio! Two minutes to travel back home praying they wouldn't cut the song in half or something! I stopped in front of my house, left the car's door opened and the radio's volume at the highest. My sister showed up on the window and we jumped happy hops and sang and danced til the song was over.
I e-mailed the radio station thanking the hell out of them!
Let's share our stories!
This masterpiece if you are wondering:

Same, pinkz, same!
I'll never forget the first time I heard a kpop song on the radio.

It depends a lot on the era to be very honest with you.
4minute peaked a lot during their career. They were rookie monsters, Hot Issue was everywhere! Then we had, Huh, Volume Up, Whats Your Name, Crazy and others.
Miss A was also a rookie monster, they are still one of the top 5 rookie monsters in the industry. Miss A had Suzy and some hits, such as Good Gir Bad Girl and Hush.
f(x) had many peaks as well, they won so many important awards! I miss them so much. Hot Summer, Rum Pum Pum Pum, Pinochio... Oh, Pink Tape is unbeatable.
Out of the three, I miss 4minute the most. They are still one of my biases alongside 2NE1 and Girls' Generation. I really miss the whole era though.

Ooh, Miyeon getting some more solo work in? Nice to see her get some more recognition. It's about time people start recognizing this visual goddess. I wonder what took the GP so long to notice her beauty.
I got myself staring at Miyeon's pic for a good minute. She's so stunning!

At one point she was a hidden vocalist for K.A.R.D after Kara.
She had a solo debut in 2017 which did very poor compared to what DSP expected but they also did NOT promote it. They did not even announce it ahead of time really, they just basically dropped it online one day.

Youtube decided to recommend me some Kara content today and as i was watching a Weekly Idol random play dance from back in Mamma Mia era, besides hurting for our Hara, I got myself thinking about Youngji.
I am so sorry for her. She started her career in a estabilished group way passed its peak by that time. And was left behind as the only Kara member when the rest of the girls left DSP.
Where is she now? What has she been doing? Does any one know?
I wish her well!
