I don’t think black swan was ever meant to have huge promo tbh. They released the Black Swan Art Film Which was a music video, but the audio was different from the studio version.. I don’t teally think they cared.

But please, Don't repeat the "Black Swan" promotional strategy aka disaster.
Even without teaser, it is ok. But releasing song on 24th but MV after one month- Absolute no.

Not gonna lie. I love Taylor, Ariana, Sia, Halsey, charlie's vocals a lot.
It is mostly how voices are put together in a collab when the collab involves 8 people. The put didn't work on On ft Sia. The put worked on BWL feat Halsey, Dream glow feat charlie.
If how the TayJin voices are put, this is how it is done, it will be surreal.

What didn't change is Their humbleness, Not letting success get on their head, Being down to earth, code of manners, Not taking work & success for granted & spreading positive message.
Asian parents who doesn't even know what kpop is, tells their children to look upto BTS. Their characteristics is what every parents want to see in their children.

Don’t think gender is a factor when the president assigned BTS to be their special envoy for the future generations and the culture. It’s the impact, influence and scale they had globally not only for youths but also for people of all ages. Pretty sure if a GG or any female act could have an ounce of that they could probably be considered. But now? It’s just only BTS who fulfils all these requirements.

I don't know if we can really quantify how many there are, but it does sometimes seem to be an overwhelming amount, I'll agree with you there.
Toxic masculinity is a very real and very serious issue with a long history at the the root of many inequalities worldwide. Being as widespread as it is, it is indeed the cause of many inferiority complexes in males who may feel they don't measure up themselves or conversely become resentful of someone else they don't feel measures up yet experiences more popularity. So if you're asking me if I feel it is one or the other - it's both.
Hope more & more men will overcome these both.

I only wish that they had performed some of their more meaningful songs than PTD. Really does not suit the occasion or the forum.
Shakira performed Lennon's 'Imagine' - talks about a world without borders, about peace, without greed etc.
Indian legend MSS performed Sanskrit "Maitreem Bajatha' - foster friendship, reject war, restraint and compassion etc.
Beyonce 'I was here' - life, love, leaving a mark
Compared to such, PTD does not seem the best choice, from even BTSs own body of work.
But anyway, it is done.
The main resonance of this year event was Youth, Generation, overcoming the pandemic, Climate change, spreading positivity, upliftment of humanity.
Permission to dance precisely covered all these topic with lyrics, choreo, theme, sets.
Of course, BTS won't perform Blood, sweat & tears or Fake Love or Boy with luv or Black Swan.
Or I am missing something though?

Not trying to generalize, but the people( whether it is kpop fans, western fans, djs, journalist or other professions) I have come across online, who hates BTS without any reason, wish BTS to disband, writes essay to degrade BTS, pass hatred on the envelop of opinion, around 80% are male.
What to name it? Toxic masculinity or inferiority complex?
So, it really feels nice when any part of Male community praises BTS.
