Lovesick Girls, 3 comebacks in a row in a span of 4 months. I thought the hype would be really low, but it turned out that it was well-received song. Charts-wise, i was hopeless because it was released at Korean national holiday week. I afraid that the hype will die because of the short promotion. Yep, i'm wrong because it did really well and currently is still on MelOn TOP10 (#7)
Glad that Blackpink have strong chinese fanbase and probably well known to the Chinese GP at some extent 🤭

Based on KVA. It's Luna > Tae/Wendy. I dont have the energy to give a detailed explanation. All of them are well-rounded vocalist, but Luna is way more well-rounded than Tae/Wendy. Both Taeyeon and Wendy are interchangeable for some reason.
Subjectively, I prefer Taeyeon over everyone. Tae's voice is very dark but light at the same time. She can conveys emotion really well, as if she was divorced more than 7 times. Taeyeon's supremacy

Didnt watch the other two. But my sister is an army, i saw a little bit of BTS ON:E and BBC. To be honest, it was awesome. BTS ON:E takes the cake for sure but The Show is not really far from it. Both groups set the standard for online concert.

Speaking for the show, its great but could've been better if they had a live talking session with fans eventhough only for a short time and longer encore (2-3 songs). The performance was pre-recorded but i'm glad that the vocals were live. Stage-wise it's great and above my expectation. Also the show could've been much better if they perform all of their songs and use a lil bit of advanved technology (AR but just a bit).
Overall, The Show was really fun. I was shocked by Crazy Over You stage, that was really great. Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du stage was spectacular. All of members solo was great but Jennie Solo remix was unexpected, 45 seconds of rapper jennie and a whole dance break of her was to die for. Rosé's solo, at first i was kinda confused about the song but it turns out to be a great song. The song is addicting.
280,000 paid tickets are unofficial numbers. YG and YouTube havent confirmed the real numbers. Even if the Show has sold 280,000 tickets, it is a good numbers and they still get a lot of profit from it. What makes yall think that 280,000 is a bad number?
The fact that its on YouTube is a disadvantage because YouTube is blocked in China, while A LOT of Blinks come from China.
Blackpink is not a fandom-driven group. Blinks are large but not every blinks have the money to buy the memberships. Since beginning, Blackpink was never a fandom-driven group with strong purchase power. In conclusion, 280,000 is a good numbers, the best among girl groups with huge gap.

AIIYL is on a confusing state. I don't know if it deserved to be listed as national hit. It was released at the same day with Mamamoo 'Yes I Am', MMM's song outcharted AIIYL then fall quickly but AIIYL is still on top. AIIYL's longevity is insane, the song started pretty well but not a front-runner. 64 weeks on Gaon Digital TOP100. Maybe its a national hit
DDDD. No explanation needed. Its Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du, the song that revolutionize Blackpink's career forever. The EP was a banger, B-side of the century 'Forever Young' is on that EP.
HYLT. Perhaps the second-biggest idol group song of 2020. The song started massively, and even got 12PAK eventhough the charts keep reforming for 3 times. Longevity-wise, currently on 24Hits TOP30 #31. Great start and great longevity. Indeed a national hit
Lovesick Girls 🤔. The song that i was underestimated, i didnt expect it to do this well. I dont think its a national hit yet, maybe it will after the song pass 18 weeks on MelOn TOP10 weekly chart. Currently 16 weeks on TOP10 (same like Nobody, D4, and HYLT). As for now it's still doing very well (#7). The MelOn reform is a disaster for some artists but its a blessing for Blackpink's song. I believe the song will surpass Cheer Up and Tell Me

But there are pairings, just like other groups. As for BP it's Jensoo and Chaelisa. Jennie and Jisoo are very close, they are naked buddies. Rosé and Lisa are also very close, both are foreigners and relate to each other a lot.
There are one thing that i noticed. Jisoo is close with everyone. Jensoo, Lisoo, Chaesoo. All of her ships are superior.
Jennie is the only introvert among Blackpink members. The closest member to her is Jisoo, although she's not super close with Lisa and Rosé, but it still better than some groups.
Vocal line for bigger group? 🤔 it's the OG SNSD. 4/8 or 5/9 can actually supports the notes and able to use breath control even if it's not perfect. Call me fake vocal coach or whatever but vocal technique is the most accurate to rank them.
Taeyeon, Jessica, Seohyun, Tiffany, and Sunny. They're all can sing for real with proper technique. Subjectively, they're also great singers especially Taengsic. Sooyoung and Yuri? lead vocal material for sure but SunTifSeo are way skilled, Soo and Yuri could be lead vocal in another group. Hyoyeon and Yoona are sub vocalist but they can sing for real, not just talking or sing out of tune.
Ignore technique, i still think that SNSD as a group are vocally gifted. Everyone can sing or at least stay in tune, even their sub-vocalist can handle high notes (since kpop-fans favor high notes a lot).
Since Asia is not only South Korea, China and Japan. I guess the answer is BLACKPINK
