It’s all about popularity, sadly. Public only interested to talk about you if you're 'worth it' for them. Take Nj, for example—they’re the IT group in Korea right now, so even the gp pays attention to what’s going on with them. But when a hybe worker died at work and the company didn’t do anything, almost no one talked about it. The media barely covered it, and K-pop fans didn’t care because, to them, that person was just a nobody.
Even with hybe’s influence in the media, issues like this only blow up if it involve someone with even some popularity. And let’s be real—there are plenty of nugu idols going through abuse just as bad, if not worse, than Madein and Vcha. But their stories get buried because they’re nobodies in the public’s eyes. Unfortunately, that’s just how it’s always been, and no matter what, it’s not likely to change.

It's obviously better since at least they enjoyed the stage, were healthy, and wanted to be there. However, as a viewer, it was quite irritating to see everyone moving at almost the same pace and perfectly harmonized, while that one member looked like they were electrocuted with the way they moved. Most of the time, it also looked goofy from fancam pov as it's so obvious. So, performance-wise, it's never good while not as bad as the the underperforming one. If you've been on stage before and had a team member like that, it would annoy you too, to some degree because, in a dance performance, synergy and synchronization are the most important (obv depends on the choreo). It's not just about enjoying the stage; you're performing with other people and aiming to please the audience, not just yourself.
In conclusion, it’s great that they enjoyed the stage and love performing, but technically, they should match the energy of the other members better—unless the others were all underperforming then, the stage is yours to do that.

I believe they’re going to find out soon how disgusting that company really is. What I can’t accept is not how they critized Nj for doing what they're doing or hating on Mhj but how they see what hybe is doing to Nj—all the media play and slander—and still choose to side with the company. Seriously, a bunch of disgusting old men and root of all the evil over these little girls?!
And to think that one day, some of their faves will want to leave… it’ll be hell. As sad as it will be for the idols, I can’t help but laugh in their faces when that day comes.

I agree with Whyknock. Despite whatever this chart is and whoever made it, Bp is considered part of the 3rd generation because people generally associate them with that era. I think you might not fully understand why terms like 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 generations exist for some people. These classifications are used for groups that many consider to have debuted in the "wrong" generation. So, Bp is not part of this overlap. Because, in the case of the 3.5 gen, those groups are labeled this way because many believe they should belong to the 3rd gen, while the 4th gen was seen as starting too early. Bp is already firmly part of their "supposed" generation. After all, the 3.5 generation wouldn't exist if the 4th generation officially started in 2020 with Aespa's debut or 2021 with Ive's debut, as their debut marked a noticeable shift compared to the earlier 4th-generation groups.

Even Harry Potter has a shorter series than this whole saga.
At this point, they're going after One Piece next

Hey Yama, it's not just us that saw it!
I mean, it's pretty obvious to anyone who was active here a few months ago. What surprised me is how fast he dropped Illit just because they couldn’t meet his expectations and started leeching off the more successful hybe girl group to replace them. It’s like a whole circus to watch, tbh. Hard to believe chart-obsessed fans really exist.

Looks like we’ve got a new hybe stan in the house, guys. Yet, the writing style feels quite similar to Wateris, so… And the account was created around the same time as Illit’s comeback, which when Wateris going Mia from this site for some obvious reasons. The difference is, this time they're leeching on another hybe group to keep inserting themselves in this thread

Thing I'm curious is where are they staying are they staying at the place provided by their company?
Because it would be pretty funny if they left but still stay at that grand dorm that was provided to them
I think it’s pretty obvious that if they’re still living in their old dorm, the lease is obviously not under the company name. Is it really that hard for some people to connect such obvious dots?

Jisoo holds the record for the highest album sales.
Jennie is the ultimate It girl.
Rosé has the biggest solo hit.
Lisa leads in social media followers.
Basically, all of them excel in different categories. This makes Bp the hardest pop groups to recreate because I’ve never seen a group even in any popular western groups where all members have such strong individual fanbases and hype to this extent.

1. Companies shouldn’t debut a group if half the members can’t sing or don’t have at least a decent vocal tone. It honestly feels like a scam. Sure, being pretty and coming from a big company can take them far, but once the group’s done, their “singing” careers are over. They’ll just end up doing some modeling gigs.
2. Criticizing idols who lack talent should be normal. Fans need to stop hyping them up because it just makes them complacent. Of course, this doesn’t mean bullying them, but saying someone can’t sing isn’t hate.
3. Cha Eunwoo can barely act tho he showed some improvement at least, and he’s not much of a singer either. His good looks are the only thing keeping him afloat.
4. Kpop loves to use deep concepts like women’s empowerment or mental health awareness for example, we all know it’s all just for show yet fans took it as something 'real' and makes the group 'different'. These idols don’t practice what they preach, and for me it just comes off as hypocritical.
5. Blackpink’s vocals are average at best, but they’re smart about playing to their strengths and picking a song that suits them.
6. Bts vocal line used to be my favourite in entire of kpop. They have a great range of vocalists with all have unique tones, but with time, aside from Jungkook, the others' development has declined too much.
7. Korean pop artists honestly have some of the weakest vocals compared to other countries, especially in Asia. When you look at places like Southeast Asia, China, or Japan, even their best singers would just be considered average. In my country, someone who sings live well but has a slightly shaky voice would get mocked, but in Kpop, they’d get praised like it's out of the world performance. The bar is seriously low

Controversies are popping up left and right. Honestly, it's not just Kpop, it's like the whole world is being turned upside down. So many dark secrets and scandals are coming to light, and there's just so much going on.
Something’s definitely different about the air in 2024.

Some are questioning her timing, even though she’s been pursuing lawsuits for months, as if that’s so important. Maybe seeing another group take on a huge conglomerate from one of the big four gave her the strength to speak up too and use the media as a tool to seek justice. It’s a ripple effect that I believe will keep growing, and we’ll see more idols coming forward directly to the world, no longer tolerating abuse and mistreatment just for the sake of 'tradition.' That’s why I’ve always said, support the idols, not the company. You give these idols power over their careers when they seek it, and it can really make a difference for others and inspired them them to standing for themselves too.

Also, I didn't know Big3-4 idols had training debts?? This is shocking news, cause It was always said in K-pop community they didn't
From what I’ve read, it’s more like investment debt than trainee debt. The group has to pay back the money spent on their debut, and if they don’t succeed, the debt just keeps piling up with new investments for their comebacks later. Like with Nj for example as they're the only one talking about this, they said they’ve already paid theirs off. So meaning their comebacks were running on their own profits, so they don't have this type of 'debt' anymore.

This is why I always support idols who choose to leave their companies. Situations like this happen far too often. Whether it’s Loona, NJ, Omega X, 50/50 and now this girl, they’ve all faced so much, and not everything can be shared with the public. That’s why, in my opinion, those who side with these companies are just cruel. How can they be more concerned about protecting and defending corporations with money and power than caring about the idols, who have their whole lives on the line?
To this girl, I really hope she win and break free from her contract. Don’t let them shut you up. Everything she talked about is pretty much normal in Kpop, we all know it, but that doesn’t make it right at all. Someone needs to break this cycle and the fake image these companies create that making kids think it’s all rainbows and sunshine.
