aespa embracing the futuristic superpowers concept would always win me over. I was afraid they lost that and in return I lost interest but it seems they are back.

They all were good but every time Liz opens her mouth, the song gets elevated. It’s not just vocals but even how she carries lines. If I were Ive’s producer, I would make Liz and Ive like Nicole and the pussycat dolls.

On no I know they got tons of promo from Hybe not long after that. I was only talking about their early debut being delayed for another. Let me rephrase, they had a messy debut due to being ignored. Only to become the most successful act.

I hate mhj but there’s something poetic about a group that was ignored and unpromoted by the company to become the most successful debut out of pure charm (and people thought NJ’s sudden unofficial debut was a strategy).

Three/four generations of SM artists got constant hate and drag after a certain group creation for a reason like that which was only based on assumptions that SM made x group for y reason (might been true or false but assumptions nonetheless).
