because there is something called biases
a person might unconsciously or consciously believe that people of color are more likely to commit crime or be dangerous. that’s a bias. a different person might unconsciously or consciously believe that people of color are all naturally good musicians. that's also a bias.
negative biases are what gave birth to what we today consider white privilege.
but biases, negative or positive, exists everywhere and in everyone, and it can be against anyone from anywhere.
if there's someone that you find extremely attractive in front of you asking you a question, you'd most likely not act your absolute self, right? in that case, the person asking a question wouldn't be treated, by that person, like any other random person.
it doesn't need to be a bad thing. i included the word generally because not all people will give the same treatment to everyone, and it doesn't need to be related to race at all

Just because people have the same skin color doesn't mean they share the same values and cultural aspects. You're thinking of culture as something homogenous when it's in fact something way more diverse and plural.

I mean I already gave examples but I guess a more clear examples are the mormons, red necks and Amish. They are (somewhat questionable) white communities with their own culture, way of life and religion

The only story on Korean news right now about black people, as you like to call them, is about the senseless killing in South Africa. But all that footage is from Associated Press and Reuters. Taken in SA.
There is a revolt there, people killing each other, looting shops etc.
I do not give a fuck what their race is. But if they bring a gun and loot, they are criminals.
Period and simple.
Stop victimizing and start helping mate. I don't care what the colour of your skin is. You can be bloody purple for all I care. Be a good human, treat me right, and I will treat you right.
Easy as that.
Mate, that's not what im talking about but even if it was that doesnt give koreans a right to have the stereotypes that they do mate. And i'm not only talking about those type of instances koreans have played that black people have aids which has lead not only koreans but chinese people to think all black people have it. I'm not "victimizing" i'm speaking out about the racism in korea and clearly that is too much to handle.

why are you even asking a question, when you have already formed an opinion you are not willing to change no matter how strong the arguments are. Maybe check some cultural and sociological studies and you can actually understand what the other users are talking about but then who doesn't want to understand, won't understand, good luck with that
the other users have no evidence, i don't know if u could tell but this is the political section i write these because i want to see other people opinion on these political topics the only way i'm going to change my mind is if someone presents me with facts i didn't just pull this opinion out of nowhere clearly i have done research and can't find any evidence that there is white culture.
Culture is more related to your location than to your race. There's no standard black or white culture. There's white culture from Norway, white culture from France, black culture from Nigeria, black culture from Kenya, etc. But America was never a homogeneous country (except for Native Americans, and even then there's different cultures from different Native American tribes), so it's hard to pinpoint aspects of American culture to a specific race.

It is "white" history since it was made by a white people and was mostly consumed by white people since most of these were for the rich and were invented/grew during the time period where POC were still treated like trash and did not have the luxury to consume it (1700s - 1940) (except for Dreamworks which is more recent). History and culture are very intertwined.

Oh I know this how? I'm white, I live in Korea, I work with all Koreans, I am the only non asian in know in SK, people tell me these things all the time, I do research, my close friends explain things like this to me, Koreans themselves have told me their own history, I went to school and learned about beauty standards through history, I live the SK life with white skin on the outside, other than that I am completely the same, and I get treated differently and sometimes, horribly. Not because I'm not the same or because I'm not from there, but because I am white.
Anyways, at least you can convince yourself of these things even though you aren't white and you have never been to Korea, if I'm correct

i'm trying to have a conversation/debate clearly by the way people are acting they aren't ready to have these type of conversations that we need to have. This is the political section of allkpop when you write your political view and can report things going on in politicas thats what im doing and ppl dont know how to act.
