I wouldn't say switching genres hasn't been done before in the 4th gen. Dalla dalla switched genres multiple times within the song and so did icy to a lesser degree.
I guess it's refreshing if you count recent releases? Otherwise it's nothing new tbh. That being said I don't think either next level or mafia are particularly great, they're both just decent imo.
Which 4th gen Kpop group covered a popular movie OST and created a mashup with other songs and performed it? None. Thank you

1) Headlines: Barely anyone recognizes in GP Korea but once there are headlines about this one Kpop group covering a random movie OST they will check out. Booyah free publicity
2) Familiarity bias: Because ost is popular originally people will like it for its familiarity to the ears. People tend to like things they're familiar to more according to psychology

their rap was good just by how it was not cringy and forced, a rap being not cringy being a standard shows how the bar is very low for 4th gen gg raps
and yes, karina rapped in sm family online concert, giselle rapped her own written rap in her teaser and they both rapped in next level

i completely disagree. there is nothing special about aespa's rappers tho giselle has promise.
but at the same time, you're completely right it wasnt cringe at all, but i wouldnt want to listen to it. they dont sound tight, but the reason they have a good flow is cuz the song is relatively slow for rap
also they've had like one and a half songs with rap. could yall wait for a little more before yall crown them the queen of 4th gen rap
1) nobody called them the queen of 4th gen rap
2) giselle and karina both got to rap for twice and it sounded right they suit each other, also giselle wrote her own rap once and giselle's self produced rap was not cringe too, i see nothing but potential
