so the USA is the blue part, ok that makes sense, thank you.
There's no blue on this map.

They also mention cherry bullet
Nah, it was addressed to 3YE.
Some users around here make fun of Onces but personally I'm glad that a group such as Twice, well past their prime, deep in their ajumma days, still find a supportive crowd wherever they go. It's quite formidable to keep drawing so many elderly people, considering all they have to go through to reach the venue, with their walking sticks and all. It warrants respect.
Where were Twice in 2013? Exactly. Deadass just a bunch of nugus. Get the hell outta here, you silly baka.
13 tracks, 93 seconds
Display More- this is the "what if" scenario of what if Gidle was under YG
- And yes, what if Miyeon is in YG
- YEH SHUHUA
- I'm sorry Miyeon, but Shuhua really really really visualing in here (idk if that even a valid word)
- But I really really want to thank Soyeon for Yuqi vocal's part because it's been a long time that I'm itching for her vocals, like ughh I love you giants and bonny and clyde
- still, YG, and I might think they touch some other group's references too
- and (maybe it just me that..) I think it's like an everglow song, but much milder
I do love the visuals, but the song itself is a blop for me. Coco Loco is more my jam than this.
WELL, TIME TO DEVOUR THE BSIDESS
I very much agree with this. Shuhua looks stunning. Yuqi's part before the 2nd chorus is great. And I can hear some Everglow too, because of the EDM heavy sound I suppose.
The last part needed a smoother transition because it felt so abrupt and jarring. It also could have benefitted from being 15 seconds longer. All they needed to do was repeat that final part one more time and it would have been fine. Tik Tok really has ruined the music industry with this short songs. To me, it shows that Soyeon cares a little more about following trends than creating art.
I think it's misguided criticism. Three years go, HWAA (even though longer) already had an abrupt ending which left many people shocked . And this song was anything but Tiktok bait. I think it's just the way Soyeon composes, she can't be revolutionary in every aspect, and to be honest she's not the only one in the industry. It's not like NewJeans songs were any longer.
I think it's quite unfair to say she doesn't care as much about art when there aren't a lot of idols who can be considered an artist more than her.
I think the song's fine, and it has growing potential. But as always it's too short and may leave an impression that it doesn't fully achieve what it tries to do. I think the song sounds better on spotify than youtube, so maybe check it out there if you're uncertain. Or maybe the MV was just toot distracting. It looks very shiny and polished but I'm not fond of the concept as a whole. It looks a little too textbook girl crush to me, not that innovative.
It seems the girls wanted to go the girl crush route all the way with this comeback, to the point it slightly becomes caricature. With that being said, I think they can't go any further with this approach, which leaves me even more curious about their next comeback.
In the meantime, give a listen to the album. It's really good. For now, my favorite track is Yuqi-composed song 'Doll'.
If (G)I-DLE performs well in this comeback, then they'll be eligible to be discussed whether they solidified their place at the top after their next comeback, which could only be answered after their next next comeback. Because for some reason, when it comes to (g)i-dle, the goalpost never ceases to be pushed back.
Interesting how this reach 10 pages. Forum was supposed to be dead?
That's the power of Soyeon's "cringe" lyrics.
I think it sounds good and I'm happy that she keeps on showing her vocal abilities.
Now I'm curious about what kind of release this song will be on. Will it release for free? Is a 2nd solo album in the works?
They are so huge in Russia, It's one of their biggest markets from what we could observe when Youtube Charts used to break down artists' YT streams per country.
I really wish we could've had stats to have an idea of how much they purchase. But everything from there is so obscure, even Spotify is banned now.
Ah that's why there are so many comments in russian under their videos
These aren't exactly huge venues. If you can sell 1.8M albums, you should be able to sell out all venues...they have a thai member and didn't even sell out Bangkok.
I don't understand the argument. "Let's ignore the 3800 tickets sold and focus on the remaining 200". It doesn't make sense. Plus I found an article about the Bangkok concert that states it actually sold out. So who know if these wikipedia numbers accurately reflect the attendance up until the shows dates.
Also, Cube announced bigger venues for the next tour, so whatever the numbers were, the company was very satisfied with them and is confident they can do even more.
I'm gonna be honest, I don't get the correlation?
it's supposed to mean IVE do have morals and class, unlike (g)i-dle I guess
Yes because you see, we happen to have high moral authorities on this forum and they benevolently offer us their precious insight and wisdom on what is tasteful and what is not, what is appropriate and what is not. I bet you didn't know but now you do.
