Not even IU herself or anyone at her label would believe she is bigger than BTS in the west. For every random fact you put here to prove your point that IU is more popular, I can pull up like 100s of facts for BTS (to give an example - BB charts, Spotify and Apple charts, Album and concert ticket sales, no. of nominations and wins on western music awards). So you are the one who needs to sit and calm tf down with your passive aggressiveness.

Streams aren't the only metric to be nominated for Best Music Video. Sure the song did well, but you need to think harder as to why this is her first and only best MV nomination on MAMA.

I believe they have a promising career ahead, especially after seeing their confidence during the press conference. They don't even need to do much marketing now, they just need to release music. They may not be as successful in the west anymore but they still have a chokehold on Korea and that's enough for a successful career.

Doesn't matter. More than 90% of the viewers watched the MV for Taehyung. IU could've won SOTY for LWA but it wouldn't have mattered to us. But since Taehyung cameoed on the MV, the best music video nomination meant something for ARMYs. It's just another trick Mnet has always been doing to get more clout for their award show.

Love Wins All is a very average MV that relies on the star power of BTS member, Taehyung. Armageddon, on the other hand, is an aesthetic masterpiece. I would pick even Heya over LWA, as the better MV.

Apart from the Savage and My World album, I lowkey agree with you. The other albums mostly have a few stand out bsides and that's about it. Red Velvet were clearly releasing stronger albums by this time, when they reached their forth year.

Every prominent HYBE group (and obviously not NewJeans) is nominated but no Aespa? Very interesting. I wonder how deep HYBE's connections are with the western music industry lately.

I have never seen an instance where she was able to convincingly deliver an emotional performance. Can you give any examples?
