Now I get where HYBE got their inspo for Jungkook and Jimin's solo artist concept & image. It always felt too fanfictiony to me. Musically both their images were different prior to their solo debuts.

The most powerful men in HYBE are still BTS at the moment. The fact that HYBE needed to twist Jungkook's message to make it seem like he's against MHJ says a lot. BTS's words matter more than all the statements HYBE ever made about this dispute.

This was a surprise but I'm glad it happened. This gives me a slight hope that HYBE might give into NewJean's demand. BSH's ego can't be bigger than what BTS means for him (monetary wise obviously).

The only thing I'm conflicted about NewJean's proposal is that despite the mistreatment and animosity they felt at HYBE, they are willing to still continue there if MHJ is reinstated her position. How would having MHJ as the CEO make the environment better for them at HYBE? The hostility among them and other HYBE label employees will still remain the same. That is something even MHJ can't control as a CEO.

Honestly their decision to terminate their contracts with HYBE doesn't even seem that bad. HYBE doesn't seem to have any interest in investing in NewJeans anymore, so they have no future at HYBE either. But yeah this would probably mean they will never be together as a group and will have to disband. Don't know how to feel about this.

Ngl, I feel a bit iffy with that particular lyric. The rap was still fire though.
