I casually listen to a lot of GG's and female solo artists, Twice, Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet, Weeekly, SNSD, Taeyeon, Sunmi, etc.
For BGs, I don't really like most of them, the only BGs I casually listen to are SHINee, TXT and Enhypen and also some Exo songs.

They do an average of a 200k - 300k jump without a viral moment right? So with Fever going viral and this being their first full album, I can see them doing 850k - 1M somewhere.

I checked them out during Crown because I was curious about seeing a new group coming from Bighit but dropped them since Cat & Dog really wasn't my type of song and the long hiatus got me even more disinterested. Then I saw Run Away teasers being dropped and thought "why not give them another chance?". Story short, it's one of my favourite kpop songs ever. They haven't disappointed me with their music since.

For the GGs it's too early to tell, Aespa is doing amazing rtn but there are still GGs that haven't debuted yet that can completely shake the GG landscape (YG GG, HYBE GG, JYP GG, 999 GG, etc.). As you can see with BTS, you can never expect the unexpected.
For BGs, I think for BGs most of the top 4th gen BGs have debuted already except maybe the Pnation x JYP group that can still shake things up. Rtn SKZ, TXT, TBZ and Enha seem to be frontleaders.

The journalist that wrote this article is a guy who looks down on kpop fans and is condescending towards the genre, pretty much sounds like a western elitist. He has made horrible articles on SNSD and BB in the past too. I have no idea why they let a man like this with such a heavy bias interview the boys, he basically used this whole interview to further his own agenda. It's already too much to expect billboard to be even a little bit professional and look for unbiased writers. BTS deserve more respect than this. Fuck Billboard and fuck that journalist.
