Even though I lovedBlackpink, I only felt Rose's passion for music. It makes more sense for Jisoo to go to an acting agency, Yg's acting department is probably not very good, acting agency is a better option if she wants to improve her acting. I hope Lisa and Jenniecontinue making music, even if it is in another agency. I think Yg can handle one person's solo. I remember Rose had a lot of compositions. All they have to do is edit them. Rose's reflected herself, her solo was not Yg's style. I hope Rose did signs with a guarantee of three or four albums.
YG's acting agency is surprisingly good. TheBlackLabel, an affiliate label of YG, recently signed Park Bogum and Lee Jongwon. I wouldn't be surprised if Jisoo moved to TBL for her solo work.
Very likely that multiple girls are considering other companies for their solo careers. That would explain why negotiations are taking so long.
Very likely that they stay under YG for group activities. Even the other companies that are trying to get the girls for solo activities would probably want them to stay part of Blackpink, because if they left many blinks would turn against them, hurting their solo career.
Of course, negotiations are still ongoing, so they could end up staying with YG after all of this.

Never knew that the scandals and YG stepping back would make that big a difference.
Sarcasm? Of course such a big scandal that directly affected BigBang and YG would seriously damage the company. People were speculating at the time that it could sink the company. It's impressive that they survived and remain as one of the big 3 (thanks to BP).
As for YG himself, people underestimated how important he was to YGE's success because they didn't like him. Just wishful thinking really.
JYPE=TWICE along with STRAY kids and other JYPE artists are having HISTORIC world tours. Is forming US and Japan groups and is reaching unprecedented heights as an entertainment company. - also most profitable this yr percentage wise vs last yr out of the big 4.
YG - BP literally had one of the most profitable tours in all of music history, and Treasure had a successful debut and a soldout 1st tour, with Babemon gaining interest - all YG artists are doing well - even Ikon , they had a successful 1st world tour - granted it was in smaller venues, but their rebound is promising. YG rode out the scandal and, as a company, are at a better place now than in the past.. which is shocking tbh.- this is mainly all thanks to BP.
sm however is stagnant and don't seem to know where they're headed. they have artists going on social media venting their frustrations, no visible plan for the future, and just seems... like they have no direction. what sm artists are on tour right now? nct dream? they're not making much of an impact.. both YG and JYP are selling out stadiums, while nctdream can barely fill a small arena. who else?
point is, JYPE and YG artists are active and making waves in the music industry - both in the east and in the west... where is Sm??
when was the last time u saw anyone excited about an SM artist?
exactly

YG: and AKMU are dominating k-charts. People always forgetting to mention AKMU.

Why would it mean that? Aren't they different labels?
TBL producers have produced almost all of Blackpink's songs while they were under YGE. Kinda strange for TBL not to show up. Taeyang did yesterday but other TBL artists/producers were not beside him.

I occasionally check in on Ella's IG account because there is a good chance that they are preparing her to debut in TBL's girl group, so her IG account might be the best source for hints on when TBLGG will debut.

She's officially under TBL as a model/actress, but her recent change of hair color (to a very kpop orange) and taking photos/videos in TBL's practice room (Ella's home is in America) suggests that the group's lineup might be finalized and the members are preparing for debut. Considering Babymonster is debuting soon, TBLGG's debut is still likely at least a few months away, if not longer, but it does seem to be possible for the end of 2023 or early 2024.
