..which side do you prefer, and why? For example, why do you prefer x-ism over y-ism? What things do you like or dislike about certain systems and ideologies?
Feel free to keep it short or add as much as you want to :DD
Please no fighting in the replies
I'm just curious about what opinion is more popular among the K-pop community

is being sensible, vulnerable or delicate a bad thing?

Ah, something like anime. I only watched Totoro if it's from Ghibli
If you liked Totoro, I think you'd also enjoy Ponyo. Ghibli also has more mature films, like Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away or The Wind Rises. If you like emotional films, I heard that Grave of the Fireflies is really sad. I haven't watched it but I'm planning on doing so ^__^

- yuri is a great vocalist!
- chaeyeon deserves all the praise she gets for her dancing skills
- sakura's facial expressions don't really blow me away. they're good, nothing unique. wonyoung fit the center position really well but i would've chosen yena to fill that roll :>
- they're title tracks are a bit too similar for my liking, but still enjoyable.
- beautiful choreos
- disbanding them was the biggest financial mistake mnet could make and i hate the fact that their hissy fits with other companies always end up affecting kpop groups.

K-pop stands for "Korean Pop" so, logically, the only thing required is to speak korean and debut under a korean label. Honestly, I don't mind if fully black people join the industry; especially considering the fact that K-pop:
a. Was heavily influenced by hip hop and rap during it's origins in the 90's (which is the main reason why the "rapper" position exists in the first place)
b. Still heavily utilizes trap, rap and hip hop.
Additionally, there are plenty of hits that were created by black producers and composers. Ironically, the kpop industry is also extremely colorist
In my opinion, it's also okay for white people (and any race) to join. Again, as long as they know korean and put in the effort to be an idol

Twice
my favorite song from them is feel special.
despite what lots of people say, jihyo is actually a really strong vocalist and singer in my opinion. nayeon and jeongyeon are competent lead vocals but nayeon can sometimes be a bit too nasal and squeaky for my preference :< sorry. i also think the song-writing and some side tracks from their earlier albums are weaker compared to the recent ones (still enjoyable though
)
all of them are great dancers too :3

Baby Vox or Mamamoo
NEVER heard of baby vox lol
on the flip side, i hear too many negative things about mamamoo. they're one of the strongest vocal groups in and outside of kpop. i also really like their discography's versatility and the fact that they participate in making some songs. all of them are great performers too!
my favorite song from them is starry night

hello :) i'm common-nobody. i'm more or less new to the allkpop forum.
i was last here in august 2020, but left because of issues with my parents. i was 12 at that time and wasn't supposed to be here, so they were rightfully upset after finding out i made a kind of "secret" account. i'm the appropriate age now, so it's all fine :D
i hope to get along with you guys. i only stan dreamcatcher, but casually listen to quite a few girl groups. i also like art and cinema, so if you ever want to talk about any of those things, you can write me message whenever you'd like to
