"I'm the drama"
"I'm a savage"
And then it goes from feeling badass to feeling like you need to get on your hands and knees and worship some great Eldritch Kwangya deity.
and the song pauses for a second before going to the bridge because it couldn't flow naturally out of the chorus. They sound like two different songs

Oh friend, i know💀
But people will get used to it though.
I remember people dragged the hell out of "Le sserafim" and "NewJeans"...like bad.
But now people say they're cute names.
So with I'll-It, it'll just be some getting used to.
I always liked le sserafim, it sounds classy. but I'LL IT? hope they don't plan to promote in usa or at least use different spelling

imo, with most of sm songs their bridges don't feel out of place as most of their songs are not got the beat kind of experimental songs. This suprises me as I thought bridges in their songs are the easiest to listen for non fans as they sound very normal. I remember during zimzalabim era everyone hated the song but everyone thought Joy part aka the bridge was good.
i don't like them, they are too jarring. from sm artists i only like kai (he's my 5th listened artist on spotify this year btw), he doesn't have out of place bridges. i really like his music.
zimzalabim is the textbook example of out of place bridge, it makes no sense, it belongs to a completely different song lol

That's weird. What about Jopping?
it's not just jopping but the group that was made specially to target western market; aespa's macy parade and coachella performances and full english singles. ofc they care about western market. saying they don't care about it is delusional lol

jesus christ, that name...

Maybe it's a single rather than an album?
I think it's album. He's been working on it for quite some time, i doubt it will be a single only.

I think he is counting to enlistment if the media gave the correct date
Why would you do that

No, nobody over here said this is their pre debut but people here were discussing that since this debut turned into a mess and flopped on the charts YG might try to cover this mess up by trying to play this batter up mv as a pre debut song and do a proper debut with album later. Baby monster officially admitting batter up as their debut puts ends to all this theory and possibility.
They might still do that despite BM admitting this was a debut. This is the company that said that yedam and mashiho are still in treasure, but on hiatus. We all know how that turned out to be

It was obviously debut. Incompetent yge half assed it but it was a debut. How is this company still alive is beyond me. Yes, i know, it's bp, but you get my point

Happy b day, king! i hope you are not having a hard time
stay healthy and see you soon! 🎉🎊🎉

Cannot wait!
But making a better album than indigo?
challenge accepted!
-
But why? Lol
Because they make no sense lol. To me it sounds like bridge and the rest of the song were composed by two different people but none of them knew what other person is doing lol. They always abruptly change the flow of the song, slow it down because it's time for high notes. I already mentioned in aespa - drama bop/flop thread that i wished the bridge didn't exist, it always throws me off. But i was obvious the only one, many liked the chorus best lol. But despite the bridge i listen to drama all the time, it's their best title track!

One example that always comes to mind that perfectly showcases the problem

The fandom of course upvoted all the positive stuff to the top but if you dig deeper you'll find tons of vile stuff. NewJeans performance was universally praised, specifically mentioning the live vocals. This was the last time IVE did a performance like this, sadly. Starship probably realized there's nothing to be gained but a lot to lose.
Both groups are 'singing live' but one performance is with LAR and one is with studio audio as backtrack (at a low volume). Why on earth would these companies risk a controversy by letting the idols do a real live performance if they can not only get away with LAR 100% of the time but even get praise for it. I honestly can't even blame the companies for making the only logical decision.
How can you hear these videos and think they are both live? Ive obviously has lower volume backtrack, singing volume wise is uneven, and mics pick up other sounds too. For newjeans everything sounds even because, you know, it's not live.
I also don't get why LAR is used even for ballads?! A mess, and it's incredible that most fans don't care (at least those who get it's not live lol). I'd get it when songs are choreo heavy and idols wants to focus on it but when you have chill choreo and you still lip sync... Are you a singer or dancer? I wouldn't even bother paying for a ticket if my faves lip synced the whole concert. I can listen to them on Spotify or YouTube for free
