Now can you sue them for this ? I thought about it again, and even though they deserve it…, it would be tough. You'd need to prove they knowingly shared the wrong footage, which is hard since media outlets rely on their sources and they have to trust that they did the necessary fact check. It wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened. They often correct the mistakes, apologize and face no legal consequences, unless the story was entirely fabricated, which wasn’t the case here.
As a big media outlets and professionals, they should be able to do proper research and found out everything before reporting on it. If they don't know the truth, why didn't they put effort to know it. Isn't there anyone who can even confirm and research even a little.

No, I think he should be punished, because he's a careless, ignorant fool who doesn't give a damn about other people around him, and he was driving drunk. I don't give a damn about what the media says. My opinion has nothing to do with what they say.

And for the record, Suga already said it was true, he was driving drunk, the police took away his license and fined him. So, there's nothing more to prove. I don't even understand why some ARMY thinks they can save him or something just because JTBC released an incorrect footage. The footage didn't affect how the police handled the situation at all. He was punished BEFORE they released the footage, and that's why it doesn't matter!
Also, I NEVER said, it's okay if the media spreading misinformation! I said, it's not that important in this case, because it won't help him in any way. It won't change what he did.
And for the record, I do like Suga, he's my fave BTS soloist, but I won't defend anyone not even my biggest faves if they do something stupid and break the law.

For most Bunnies, it is entirely about not trusting Hybe in the slightest than it is blind faith in Min Heejin.
Why would any sane fan trust the company that pushed out damaging media play, floated out a nearly 2 year hiatus, with a boss who actively ignores the members and openly shades their accomplishments? Not to mention the Hybe employees outed on Blind for leaving extremely sexist comments about their girl groups.

The only thing I heard is that it is submitted, but mhj side plead not to be read out loud, and the court acknowledge their claim that it 'could be' tampered with (not confirm that is edited or tampered) and also because of privacy. So I simply wonder why y'all say that it is rejected by the court and could not be used at all.

Although it's interesting that this fact is getting ignored in favor of leaks of text. Who else has the texts that was edited and chained to fabricate a narrative if not Hybe? Although I'm sure Hybe can come with some excuse and that's why they used that YT guy who can be the fall guy. He's known to wreck people's lives using false evidence and has been sued multiple times for that.

So the chats the reporter presents are indeed edited to look like an actual kakaotalk, but that doesnt mean they edited in the sense of creating a whole conversation that didnt exist
