Harris originally ran against Biden in 2020. Haley basically endorses Trump now anyway, the Republicans always fall in line.

Nikki Haley would have been a great choice, she appeals to the more moderate voters, she's a WOC, she would have worked well as a counter argument to Kamala. Shapiro would be great to win Pennsylvania, but Walz is generally well-liked in the rust belt so has more general appeal (and yes, he's not Jewish, so he wouldn't piss off the leftist wing of the Democratic party - it's sad that this needs to be considered now but that's the world). Walz is an ex-teacher, pro-union and has an everyman quality that people like.

I mean if he becomes the VP nominee I expect people to drag up whatever they can find on him too, but at the end of the day, it all seems stupid considering the Republican candidate is literally a convicted felon, there's fraud, sexual harrassment and all kinds of other shit on him and he's as popular as ever with Republican voters. So "oh no he voted against this good policy at one point" seems kinda ridiculous compared to THAT. I feel like democratic voters would like their candidate to be morally flawless according to all their individual standards of morality while Republican voters just want someone to shit on immigrants and women. Hence why the Republican party seems so much more united.

Illit had a viral hit song, it doesn't mean the group is that popular. Nothing to do with being genuine or not. It's like Fifty-fifty they had a massive hit, never translated into massive group popularity. Obviously Illit is Big 4 so their fandom is bigger than that but their song is bigger than the group for now.

ah, I liked NYC, especially the great food and the older parts. There's lots to do and it has a different vibe from any other city I've ever seen. But I preferred Boston and New Orleans, those were my favourite cities to visit. Savannah was really cool down in Georgia too. Didn't like DC, now that was a boring place. It's so giant and empty.

I've been to a few US states, many of them have incredible sights to offer, like California, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Washington, Montana

haven't been to Alaska or Hawaii but everyone knows those are stunning as well. And the East Coast has the best cities, if you want to do a city trip.

states I wouldn't recommend are Alabama and Mississippi, those were both super boring. Some good museums, legacy & history wise but that's really it.

I always knew she was the most popular but I'm surprised to see how far ahead she is. Like twice as many followers as Winter who's the next most popular member is insane.

I do think they would do better as 5 member groups. But I'd leave out Bae and keep Lily for Nmixx, make them focus on more vocal RnB type songs (and Jinni isn't even part of the group anymore, so she doesn't need to be re-added).

I know Ruka is popular but I don't disagree with the OP there, she and Pharita add the least to BM. They have too many members who overlap in concept and appeal, so those two make sense to leave.

cause realistically 3rd party won't win, which means you might just take a vote from the other party you'd like more than the third. Example, you'd normally vote Democrat, you like the independent better, vote for them, Republicans win.

If the US had a more European voting system where there's coalitions and every vote counts, it would be a different story, but the electoral college means there's no way anyone but the big 2 win unless the winning candidate switches parties and that seems unlikely in this age.

and the US will never abolish the electoral college system if the Republicans have anything to say about it, cause they know they're never winning an election again without it.

people keep forgetting that Taeyeon was also very popular for her cute looks. When SNSD debuted Taeyeon was considered one of the prettiest members, after main visuals Yoona and Sooyoung. Yes, she's a great talent but so were other main vocals who got nowhere near her level. Her visuals set her apart.

your own example Lisa is the least popular in Korea despite being the most popular everywhere else (+ Jennie) cause she's not Korean and doesn't have the look they like in Korea.

There's also idols who are considered gorgeous in Korea but they're still not it girls cause their groups don't have the hype.

people can do what they want with their own money. If a fan cares if they're not improving, they can stop supporting them. But it's not ex-fans you hear yapping all over the place, it's people who don't support them anyway, so why do they care? They're just the target du jour.

all I read is justifications over why it's okay to continue this stupid witchhunt. It's okay bc they don't try to improve, it's okay bc the company set them up, it's okay bc they're just fishing for pity, etc etc. They had to disable comments practically everywhere I'm sure they're aware of the criticism.
