I remember that on another forum when Next Level was ruling the charts some were saying that it would be a meaningful moment for future GGs. Opening the gates so to say. I wasn't really convinced at that time tbh, but now that GGs are dominating, it has become a way more reasonable argument to me.
But with Next Level possibly helping all of this set in motion, it's looking like AESPA might not be the ones profiting the most from it (korean charting wise), but others who come after them mostly are. Of course there are multiple reasons to take into consideration with an artist and their song's performance, but timing does seem to be a factor. In another reality, if the debut dates of the 4th gen GGs were mixed around, things might have been very different.
