Yes the good old days. Sticker ended up being in my top 10 most played songs on Spotify in 2021 so I actually really liked it and still do despite how polarising others found it.

I also think it was the right choice of title track given how people are still talking about it till this day....the worst thing you can be in kpop is forgettable!

Despite all of the above - I think they need a less polarising "hit" song for this comeback - they've been gone too long and I fear them losing ground to the rapidly growing boy groups.

NCT dream - all main vocalists are easily distinguishable. The rappers also as they do a bit of singing on b sides - mark and jisung have deep, unique and pleasant tones

NCT 127 also all sound very different. Although I suppose doyoung and taeil have similar ranges which complement each other but I can still them apart.

I did not notice it in earlier tracks but theyve been getting worse with successive comebacks to the point that it is now unbearable - yoon especially. I'm sure black eyed pilseung are making her sing like that but they need to reconsider - it's very off putting

Yes - if you only like one group in kpop - either you aren't really there for the music or you've joined a cult under the guise of fandom

The idea of being an anti-fan of something. Before getting into kpop the norm was if you thought something was crap or uninteresting - you ignored and went on your merry way. But in kpop/korean entertainment haters congregate and bond over their hate of a group or Idol

To address OP's question in the post title though - yes of course - it probably leads to low self esteem and imposter syndrome. Key had the benefit of being a man (so doesn't get torn apart as much) and also being very skilled although not to the power vocalist level of some members of his group like onew - so I'm sure people weren't looking down on him.

In contrast someone like Giselle gets dragged so much and people even question her right to be in aespa

though he may not be the best singer or dancer in his group - He's a great artist. His work is original, feels uniquely him and he has great stage presence and command of a crowd. I'm glad he found his confidence and strength to be the best version of himself and show us that......
