But Weeekly's Soeun gets the most lead vocal parts.

Weeekly has 3 lead vocals in Soeun, Jiyoon and Jihan and most Daileee(Fans) consider Soeun the strongest lead vocal in the group.

Not sure why you included Jihan but not Jiyoon and Soeun.

Soomin is a 99er and the oldest on the group is the leader Soojin, who is a 2001 liner, the rest of girls are younger and have a very cute and youthful image. Soomin doesn't fit in, especially when the company added Jihan and Zoa after other trainees weren't picked

To be fair though, Soomin's place in Weeekly was essentially taken by Monday. Monday has been mistaken often as the leader of Weeekly and Soomin has a very similar vibe/role as Monday.

Play M/LOEN could easily have continued with Soomin as leader/Main Vocal of Weeekly, with Soojin as Main Dancer/visual.

But that would mean Monday would probably never debut in Weeekly....

I'm conflicted as Lee Soomin is my original ult Girl Idol but I love Weeekly as they are now.

Yes, the top 4th Gen Girl Group will be Weeekly.

More accurately, I don't think 4th Gen will see ONE Girl group clearly ahead by leaps and bounds but we'll see a 3-4 way struggle between very closely matched groups, almost like a category of equals. Not like how SNSD and BlackPink clearly led their generation.

I see aespa, STAYC, Weeekly and one other Big 3 girl group in this elite tier of equals but with Weeekly slightly ahead.

I think so, especially with her red hair this comeback. Both Zoa and Joy are Giant maknaes and they seem to have the same face shape, big eyes and body type.

(and yes, I know Joy is no longer the maknae, but she was at debut)

I think it's a grower like it's predecessor After School. It get's more impressive the more familiar you get with the song.

For that reason, I suspect it's MV will have longevity same as After School.

My favorites are actually their English language covers.

Their harmonies are one of their secret weapons imo.
