When you do something, do you think about how it would affect others or do you just think about yourself?
I'd like others to care about me as well, so yeah. It would be weird for me to want others to consider how something might affect me if I didn't care about how I might affect them. 
I mean, sometimes? It depends on what I'm doing.
sometimes i dont even notice others, but most of the time i think about how i might affect others so much that i don't act at all
I always try to put the group first. Sometimes that backfires spectacularly, but usually doing what is best for the group will be to my benefit too. I am happiest when conflict is minimal, especially within the group of people I care about.

if the thing in question affects others then one must take into account other's feelings and opinions...
like on mother's day obviously it's for MOTHERS so the mothers would be the ones to ultimately decide what to eat
or if I'm with my son then I know he won't eat certain foods so I have to make sure to take that into account
but in life one needs to be a bit selfish and self-interested in order to get ahead
Yes I do. For an introvert I do have self awareness and am conscious of what affect I have on other's. That's why I pause before speaking so I don't hurt other's feelings. I have been prone of putting other people's needs before my own often to the detriment of my mental health. I also watch what I say here before posting.
