I have my age and gender displayed, but I don't think that's ever changed anything 🤔

You do have a point. Once you have a real name connected to a user, you remember they’re a person behind a screen too and things get much more real.

What I will say is I find it funny how some users much older than me fought with me before no problem and I highly doubt them knowing my age would have changed anything, they still would have used the same personal attacks anyway. Weird people.

True! I also thought about if somebody did something bad and you type up their name in google, results will come up.

That completely slipped my mind. That being said, there's very little information about me online, even if you look up my name. Unfortunately, it does show up stuff like where I went to school, and from there it wouldn't be hard to quite literally find out where I live, so that's scary.

It's very scary!!!! I'm so glad that I hide myself with this username, it's embarrassing for people to look up my past accounts!

I'd be fine. There's absolutely nothing to be found about me online.

But then again, I participate in fanwars to the same extend I participate on Facebook, Instagram and twitter - I don't even have an account.
