    Um the reason people were coming up with those conspiracy theories in the first place was because SM set them with the "first KPOP girlgroup to be formally invited to perform on the mainstage" headlines...nowhere in any of the articles released yesterday by SM was 88rising mentioned, they fully made it seem like Coachella themselves had asked Aespa to perform

    88rising are one of the features of Coachella they have a time slot of 3 hrs on the main stage on one day each weekend. The label has invited many performers till now. cl&2ne1 , bibi, yoon mirae, jackson and now asepa

    2NE1 wasn't intended to play on the main stage, it was meant to be just CL. But CL arranged the other members to join. If she hadn't, Aespa would've been the 1st K-pop gg on the main stage.

    Am surprised mys believed SM considering if Aespa were truly invited by Coachella themselves, they would have been on the official lineup and performed the whole 2 weeks.
