The whole paving way never quite make sense at all. By that logic, the first group in 1st generation kpop is the most impactful group ever for inventing the whole kpop genre.

I couldn't care about who paved the way and what generation. I'm into K pop for the music. Sure a lot of groups particularly in the earlier eras influenced a lot of current groups, but I don't allow myself to get obsessed with such stuff. Every group has a purpose and has had its own achievements and that's what fans should be focussing on.
