I remember the potential Billboard fraud being more talked about than Maniac the song itself. It didn’t feel like it made noise like God’s Menu/Thunderous either. Glitch Mode is not even as talked about as Love Dive even though Nct sales are 7 times higher than Ive. Why did these come backs make so little noise?

Because both songs weren't even slightly relevant outside of their fandom. The only people listening to them are their fans.

What are you talking about? MANIAC is literally Stray Kids most well-received song since God's Menu. It's been on Spotify Global for 27 days and counting. Also, the fastest 4th gen song to surpass 30 million streams so far.

I think it depends a lot on where you're looking and what people you're surrounding yourself with
Maniac is doing well and I've seen a lot of non-stays talk about it and Oddinary as a wholealso I don't think it's fair to compare any Stray Kids song to God's Menu because before its release, people were convinced SKZ were done for and they'd stagnate for the rest of their career, the circumstances of its success were very dramatic

Maniac seems to be very liked by nonfans

NCT Dream is making a lot of noise in Korea, which has always been their target. The fact that they charted on Billboard 200 at all when their entire promotional push (Korean radio shows, TV shows) has been centered around Korea with some Indonesia is pretty impressive. The tt reached #21 on the MelOn daily chart...
Just because people aren't talking about it here doesn't mean it's not successful.

Those songs might be doing better on charts than each previous song by those groups but that doesn't mean they have hype or are popular among non listeners. It shows that they have huge fandoms which have grown a lot for the past months, fandoms which will mass stream like crazy
I don't think Maniac's effect is mass streaming when the difference between the filtered and unfiltered streams are only 54k streams.
And a special phenomenon I've noticed with boygroups is that, when the song is supported only by fans, the numbers are closer to the bsides, since the bsides themselves are very close in numbers with a few exceptions, since the fans support the whole album. But Maniac's streams total and daily streams are far from Venom.

Fans are getting better at understanding how streaming works. There are many ways to make sure your views added by mass streaming don't get filtered
