Do you think " Melon female group chart" is a good measure of popularity for GG in korea ?

personally to me it seems like it's a good way to judge GG popularity in korea especially when you watch the chart for multiple weeks

You obviously see a lot of GG going up and down based on if they had a comeback recently or not

But if you look the chart for multiple weeks you'll notice that there's 4 GG who seems to never quit the top 10 of the chart even if they aren't active or didn't have a comeback recently

and when you watch the performance of these 4 groups in the chart, it's 4 group who always get a top 10 hits lately

• Blackpink
• Aespa
• Ive
• Red velvet

+ before mention it yes there's 2 other names who also always appear in the top 10, Oh my girl + Twice who fit in the fact that the tp 10 melon chart represent popular gg because both groups are popular for their past hits, but i didn't list them because they didn't get a top 10 hit recently

Do you think it's a good measurement to know which GG are the most successfull in charts ?

because they made their debut

it seems it's influence a lot by new release, and comeback

but on the long term when you watch multiple months, you can see that group like viviz for example quickly ends up very low on the next month

while you can see some GG staying in the top 10 for months even with no comeback
