To surpass Itzy, how many more comebacks do each of the top 4th gen girl groups need?

    They were the top 4th gen girl group until last year, but it seems like they've lost momentum.


    I'm predicting....


    Ive - 1 more, maybe even by the time this comeback wraps up

    Nmixx - 2 more, if they get gp friendly songs

    StayC - 2 to 3 more

    Kep1er - 50/50 call, they need better songs


    Not including Gidle and Aespa because they've already surpassed Itzy. Every other 4th gen group has no chance, unless Loona blows up huge after Queendom.


    Have to wait and see if Leeserafim can get past this scandal. If they can, based on Hybe's resources and the ex-Izone power it will take 2 or 3 comebacks only.

    Ive already surpass them with this comeback.

    Stayc on par with them at least in South Korea.

    Nmixx album sales seem to be more bigger that it can surpass them for their next comeback. But for song, let just wait.

    Voltage is a Japanese TT, it can't perform as well as a Korean comeback.

    Nah, I'm aware it's a JP comeback. But either way, Gidle has left them in the dust with this last comeback.

    They sure are successul on an international standpoint but Japanese releases are always a tricky beast to approach. They're marketed specifically for the Japanese market and not much for the rest of world. And because kpop stans from all over the world use to tunnel vision on the Korean scene, they don't pay much attention to them anyway.


    So for fairness purposes, you should stick to ITZY's latest comebacks which I agree were not smashing hits in Korea.

    Ive. Hard to say. They are a bit of a fad and will be exposed when touring starts for it. Their songs tanked from streaming sites when the playlist ran out. Lower sales, lower streams, lower views and only half decent domestic streams. Eleven will be their peak.

    Nmixx!!! The only thing they have going for them is Jyp buying their own albums. Girls can't by a stream or view and their Hanteo and Gaon ain't adding up.

    Talking about IVE, is it eleven spotify streams good for a claimed international kpop hit? I'm talking serious because I don't know those streams are low for a supposed international hit or not

    lol about touring, we'll see when gidle announces their world tour, which should happen sooner than later. because in that department, Itzy don't have much to brag about. they didn't even bother to come to Europe the first time so in my book they have zero edge in that category. the spanking will wait.

    plus, gidle wipes the floor with itzy in terms of vocals, but that goes without saying. no hate, that's just a fact and it's what holds itzy back at this point of their career imo.

    Why tf u lyin... Love Dive already surpassed what Eleven did in a week in just one day. The only question left is if it will have the same longevity as Eleven, since the song still is charting globally after 5 months. IVE is far more relevant than Itzy nowadays.


    I think you'll be surprised when Gidle tours. They've got 3 international members, they'll have a huge presence in SEA, if if they could tour in China, there too. They'll also likely trend up from this comeback with the fact that have a in-group producer whereas Itzy is going to get NMixx's leftovers.


    StayC are getting bigger. They are from a small company but have one of the the best producers in Kpop, behind Twice's meteoric success. They've got 5 visuals and they already chart better than Itzy consistently.


    Ive aren't a fad, they will be one of the top2-3 groups and probably the only group that really stands a chance of catching Aespa. Wonyoung alone gives them that chance.


    Kep1er is a produce group. They've got every chance to blow up with some good songs.


    NMixx will surpass Itzy, it's just a matter of time and good songs. JYP is not going to let them flop. They are one of, if not the most overall talented group in 4th gen.

    Itzy is still bigger, one song won't change that. Voltage is a Japanese comeback. But if jyp doesn't give them a hit this comeback it's not going to look good

    ITZY isnt surpassed, stop with that nonsense.

    They are still ruling internationally. That wont change anytime soon.


    International success is more important than success in Korea.

    And ITZY's reign of being the Queens of Anon continues unabated
